On the way home from Beliot yesterday, I was very interested in a question during post game show KSTP following the victory over the Red Sox. The question was about what the starting rotation will look like going into next year. Maybe some of you will disagree with me, but, here is one guess. I believe that we will use the money that was spent on Capps, Liriano and Pavano to get a very good FA to fill our #1 spot. Scott Baker gets resigned to claim the second spot. Scott Diamond has definitely e
I think we can safely assume that the contracts of Baker and Liriano will be off the books next year. With that being said and after watching James Sheilds pitch last night, do the Twins go after Sheilds this off season? he is a horse and gives us an ace that we've lacked since Johan resided at the dome.
If only we could ask for a mulligan on the Baltimore series...... Twins are 5-9 going into today's game where i expect Pavano to pitch us a series win and then we'll roll with Liriano and see if a miracle happens in St Pete. 2 outta 3 in TB means were looking at 7-10 going into a homestand with a very beatable Boston and KC teams. Asking for 2/3 in each of those series seems reasonable and then as May rolls in, we're sitting at 11-12. Considering many thought April was going to be disatrous for
I am not a follower of Donald Trump. I have participated in several no kings rallies and am disgusted with what he and his followers have done to our country and the world. I would like to know what most Brazilians feel about the United States now and about the folks our citizens have elected to represent us.
Just read your article on Twins defense this year and I couldn’t agree more. Pair poor defense with an over abundance of left handed hitters, players who have failed to show they can hit consistently, and a pitching staff lacking in quality starters (Ryan excepted) and we have the makings of a team that is going to lose90-100 games this year.
