  1. The Twins have enough room to add even more(and perhaps better)pitching help NEXT YEAR? We are still under last years opening payroll amount , and we havent even used 70% of this years money.
  2. I agree, but how does 7 million dollars stop signing Cano? It has to be another trade or Tanaka,Jimenez,Santana or Garza
  3. Mr. Mcrow , lets agree to disagree, hope you have a nice night ...btw I really hope Terry is right this year , even if he is wrong on Hughes, I cant say I told you so...cause Phil was my pick to click having the Korreia affect .....
  4. So in the 3 years he did better , he had 100 games played and only 15 starts? and thats your arguement? he was better as a reliever?
  5. Im guessing they are planning on adding a better starter< as there in there win now Mode. Maybe a run at Tanaka?
  6. Wow , wonder who they got back, and if Detroit is planning on adding someone else?(Garza)
  7. So a player who has a career 4.54 ERA over what? 10 season out performs his career stats and thats because the GM is smarter then everyone else? With out looking up the stats , in 2012 there were 77 pitchers who qualified for the ERA title, with enough innings pitched.Kevin was ranked #74. As for Mike Pelfrey , he had a couple of decent months but his September wasnt that great if I recall
  8. Just going by Terrys words, He was going to sign 3 pretty darn good pitchers, well would you prefer I use Perez as 1 of the 3? still the same results
  9. I would like to contract this for 2 reasons 1) I think Terry just got lucky on this signing 2)I think Kevin stepped up, If you look at his history He fades down the strecth, Even last year , Mid August he had an ERA of 4.30-4.40 and many thought , here we go again (and I have to admitt I was expecting to be able to say I told you so) But Mr. Correia stepped up and finished strong. If Terry would have been right about 2 out of the 3 he signed , then ,Yes I would appoligise and say he was right, But how did Pelfrey and Harden do? In free agent signing you need to do better then 1/3
  10. Ok I will admitt I was wrong and Terry was right(did this on another form already)But then Terry needs to admitt he was wrong about the other 2 pretty darn good pitchers he signed. Pelfrey and Harden. So by being 1/3 we owe him an apoligy?
  11. Well 1 more loss and we would have moved up in the draft a position ...so yes
  12. Sadly there is no place for him , If I was Terry i would be calling Japan , and hooking Chris up with a team willing to give him a payday(1 million or more) on a 1 year deal and let Colabello learn how to hit the breaking pitch over there. Making sure to let Cola know we would love to have him back next year
  13. Take a look at the Padres #5 and #9 prospects in MLB Wisler and Smith, according to rumors San Diego is willing to part with these 2 with all of our AAAA talent and a couple of MLB pieces, along with a couple of hopes and dreams(prospects ) could we put together a package for these 2 , along with clearing space off the 40 man roster? Rumors has it they are willing to trade away there 3b , so would Plouffe be of interest to them, they are also looking for a left handed bat and lefty pitching, so could Doumit and Parmelle along with Diamond and Duensing peek there interest? it would clear 5 spots off the 40 man roster with out really hampering the team greatly
  14. um why? of the 4, I could see Hudson. The other 3 are not worth 14.1 million a year. but thats just me
  15. You could even include a 5-30 prospect and seek a higher prospect back .... Right now Im high on Wisler and Smith from San diego, 1 or both would be nice starting in Rochestor and could be ready in a couple months or slightly longer
  16. I made my crow into tacos , but it needed more garlic I also dont understand the dunny hate? while no Ace or Closer he is a decent left handed option out of the pen and can throw multipul innings
  17. Hughes will not be Worelied to the Minors, if he fails as a starter ,look for him to become the new Burton, just paid slightly higher
  18. But the real question is...can he play the outfield
  19. Nice article , most of my questions have been asked already, except if we sign A.J. and Pelfrey , who will be DFAd or will Terry try and trade a few of the following Doumit Worely Diamond ,Deduno amd Burton. If so would these guys be enough to accuire Wisler and Burch Smith from the Padres?
  20. Ok with the earring remark and Playa , we are now laughing with you =)
  21. Depends how his hitting and defense is....=)
  22. Now the real question , who gets DFAd or who gets traded?
  23. Um we alredy do , this is just icing on the cake ...
  24. ok Now that the 4th and 5th spots in the rotation are filled who do we run out 1-3? Just kidding (kinda) Kudos Terry you had a plan and went for it...good for you . The big question now is who comes off the 40 man roster and will you be trying to trade some players?
  25. My wish list is Garza,Kazmir, Navarro and Erik Chavez, This would set up our rotation, tighten up our defense , give us some insurance at 3rd ,and of course give us some trading chips come july...Which is some thing I hope we do this year if we are not in a race
