    You may be correct, but after a Long, Long time at third he was never more than a poor Third Baseman. Catching a ball hit directly at you, should not be a problem for a professional ball player.

    The Ball was hit Directly at him, ZERO foot work involved. His throwing from Third Base was a greater failure than getting his glove on the ball, but now it seems getting his glove on the ball is a serious problem.

    Outman had a known very good glove; this is not - let us see - little league. Had Fedko impressed in his early chances, things might be differentj, but even at that , I would rather have Kreidler at Short Stop and Fedko in Center..
