  1. IF, if, if Wallner hits a home run it WILL be a moon shot.
  2. IF, Wally does not get a hit in this game, that could play some damage in his mind set.
  3. If the Red Stockings get within a grand slam of losing, Ober is over and out.
  4. Well then , Maybe he should take Buxton out behind the shed.
  5. Kreidler homered, Kreidler homered, Kreidler homered....
  6. New manager, new states of mind from players.
  7. Jeffers seems to have fixed his bat problems.
  8. The same could be said for Lewis, Lee, Martin. If they play well, they stay, if they flounder, they sit, which is why the Twins have defense bench sitters for when the starter becomes a liability in a close game.
  9. The computer strike zone is as real as an AI boyfriend.
  10. After the years he has been in the bigs, he is Still bouncing the ball on a throw near every time.
  11. Julien's numbers in the Minors spoke for him, simple as that.
  12. His defense is the only reason it was not a close game. Twins need defense BADLY, and they know it. Lewis is a very poor fielder whose bat is here today and gone tomorrow.
  13. I have watched AAA player come up to MLB and look like they should still be in Legion Ball. The Twins are not AAA they are the Big Leagues. Unless he is proven to be better than Lee, leave him where he is till he gets SO good down there that they feel it is worth taking the chance. I have not seen AAA players with truly good defense numbers come up and suddenly their glove does not work; although, Lee looked good before he got up , and was very good at 3rd for one season. For some reason, he is losing it, to a degree. Julien's glove Never looked good in the Minors and he proved it in the majors, I see no reason to think Culpepper is the exception. I do not, and never will, see any season as a losing proposition - so - it is OK to become a quasi AAA team. Bringing up AAA players early , is doing just that. There is nothing in St. Paul right now that is any better than what they have -- you can say what about Outman, , they need his glove and his bat, well, when they let his twin brother Fitz go, it was a psychological shock!
  14. He has played a whole 9 games, his .963 last year was better than his .933 the year before but not good enough.
