    Street hustlers thrive off of that attitude, and I have family connections to know that. AAA rookies belong in AAA until they have proven they have outgrown the AAA, which is difficult as AAA pitching is a long way from Major League pitching, so what you desire is a fool's folly.

    Well Harmon was over 100 twice and in his glory year Carew 128 plus both drove in at least 100 RBI, those years, so, Knoblach did well but not the best.

    WCCO TV just had spiel on Lee, not much more than how he feels but they did say the Twins have too many talented infielders. Youngsters often have greater trade value than a veteran, unless the vet is already top line, so, next year some of the rookies will probably go else where but locally grown boys have an edge to stay with the Twins.

    Harmon, by a long shot. George Brett, batting .390, of Kansas City took the best since since Ted Williams title from Carew in 1980, annoyed me greatly at the time. He won his third batting title , ,329, ten years later at age 37,

    With out Castro and Taylor's running and fielding the Twins would not be as far in front of Cleveland as they are. Pie-in-the-Sky rookies more often than not turn out to be Moose Turd Pie.

    Yeah just like Cave, Hicks, Rooker ; came shone bright, then quickly were burnt out. Not what the Twins need now.

    That is assuming, they are all still in the Twins Org. Twins need pitching.

    The ONLY thing that blocks them outright lack of ability, simple as that!

    There was a reason made by people whose life is baseball, that after the Spring Training this year some wonder boy rookies were back at AAA, same may happen next year.

    Vazquez is still the better fielding catcher, but Jeffers has vastly improved.

    Baseball Ref. still shows Vazquez as slightly better than Jeffers but those two are the catcher next year unless hell freezes over. DO NOT dork around sending them , either , else where on the field. (not sure why Vazquez plays First) one thing Jeffers could show Vazquez, is his weight control plan; Vazquez has the body shape of a bowling pin.

    AAA league is not the Major League.

    He is a Center Fielder, unless Taylor goes down, his chance of coming up is near zero. If the Twins crater this year, like they did last, maybe then all the rookies some are infatuated with be looked at.

    The Twins treat their veterans very well , for the most part, so Polanco's future is probably with the Twins, at that; all those players listed above, some one/s are not coming back, or simply are staying in AAA until they are needed, or traded. Orthodontists probably love Julien playing 2nd as it makes the coaches grind their teeth every time a ball comes his way, Gordon is not a good as Castro, Miranda's boat is in the same dock as Gordon, the AAA rookies will have to sparkle in Spring Training to not remain at AAA, or with the Twins . Spring Training will be very interesting next year.

    "That's One Fine Looking Saints Team.. Why Don't the Twins Look Like That?" If the Twins played in the same league as the Saints, they would probably put the Saints to shame.

    He is just another of the Twins Org. rookies who came up, looked great and then the reality of their ability showed up. He is not out of baseball but odds are he will join the Cave, Rooker brigade some where else. Such is life.

    He said immediate and permanent ; down the road, the Minor league coaches will play and see where he is comfortable and where he only does it because they asked him to. At First Base, size is an advantage, though some smaller dudes have not been lost there, I do not know how tall Lee is, but Gallo's size is one reason he does well at First. Future top rank player, could very well be, time and coaching will tell.

    "It bears repeating: Lee has not exactly gotten off to a hot start in Triple-A. Through eight games he is 7-for-33 (.212) with one extra-base hit, one walk, and six strikeouts." End of story.

    Julien's bat is not what it was but they still have the shakiest glove in the Central at 2nd, que sera, sera.
