    I rarely buy a newspaper, although , the baseball results each day, are the only reason I do, as the rest of the Trib. is a bad joke, but coverage of the Twins on WCCO , the dude acts as if he does it only because he has to and would rather not. Of course the Viqueens who have not really been any better than the Twins, get news time near every darn day of the week, or so it seems. Even the hockey and basketball team when the stunk, got better coverage.

    He is not an iron glove such as Julien was, but while he has instances where looks fairly good, on the whole he is too slow to be a Short Stop. Oddly, at Third Base in 2024, he had his worst fielding percentage but his Zone and DRS numbers were all Positive to the best he ever had. The only year all his numbers were positive and some in double digits. Right now Lewis fielding numbers at Third Base are dropping every year.

    NO, Rodriguez has a K rate similar to Wallner, and no better glove. Although, Wally should be sent down , if for no other reason than shock therapy and give Rodriguez a taste of Major League pitching, although , that, could be the wrong type of shock therapy for a rookie.

    Opinions here are very, very much like fathers gushing about their sons, where the players they trash are the sons of neighborhood derelicts. It covers players and other teams; right now the West Sacramento Athletics , who last year it was implied should not be in the majors, have a record I have little doubt posters here would like very much.

    The so called Sophomore slump, if there were such a thing, is probably the reason so many do not get a Freshman season.

    I wonder if some batters just psyche out the pitcher; Manzardo walked on two consecutive 4 ball pitches.

    Lewis raised his BA to .174; his main fielding problem is his throwing. He can get to the ball, usually, then bounces it to whom he is throwing it.
