  1. If the Twins return to a gent getting on base, just standing there scratching his buttocks, this team will be a very, very boring team.
  2. I have to admit, when Spring Training squads are reduced to near final, Spring Training is not as interesting to watch as the first weeks when , the look-see effect is in full swing. The squad this year is interestingly bland, so how the first games of the season go will , I am sure, bring out nay-sayers in full swing.
  3. Wally seems to have adjusted at this point.
  4. Farmer is looking good for Atlanta but Keirsey Jr. is pretty much the same.
  5. He is crap right now.
  6. I hope Gio replaces Lewis at 3rd.
  7. Unless Jenkins glove is as good as Mauer, there is no comparison; Morneau maybe.
  8. Well, Kreidler is only 1 home run behind Lewis in Spring Training.
  9. WOW, Twins batmen commit 9 strike outs, and Pitchers cause 3, while the Phillies batsmen commit 3 strike outs and their pitchers cause 9. NOT a good sign.
  10. Just how or what did his head hit? It usually take a pretty solid hit for it to immediately affect ones performance.
  11. Jeffers' problem right now is his glove .
  12. Now things can change, But, how long was Wallner at .08x last year before they sent him down; NOW, Lewis is headed for the Wallner line in Spring Training.
  13. Command is the authority to set goals and give orders, while control is the process of verifying and adjusting activities to ensure those objectives are met . Command dictates what to do, whereas control is the mechanism that ensures the action is carried out effectively. Command is about exercising authority; control is about regulating performance.
