  1. He is turning into another Gallo, but with the equivalent of Juliens glove.
  2. Larnach has become the better fielder than Wallner by far, especially in Right Field. Wallner has gotten worse each year the more he plays; neither one has improved but Wallner has dropped the most.
  3. Gonzalez will the first of the two to finally come up.
  4. With posters at Twins Daily complaining; I doubt the average fan knows or could care less.
  5. According to Sports Illustrated, the best bats so far in order are: Roden, Outman, Keaschall and Rodriguez but they note Rodriguez strike out rate is a problem.
  6. If Rooker had a glove even close to as good as Outman he would still be here. Outman is at least average.
  7. I would much rather they bring in a veteran or quasi-veteran squad as they did in 2019. Keaschall looks to be a real pro, but beyond that, not only no winners for you bat first guys, but few gloves to make up for a bat below .TD's unreal expectations.
  8. No one earned a spot on Spring Training squad that is only mediocre .
  9. Nick Gordon is not forgotten but how he went from good to hopeless, is sad.
  10. Two little known gents, make their presence known.
  11. I know I am a grumpy old man as when I see the name Yastsrzemski, I think of the gent from the sixties.
  12. Odd, MLB shows Mathhews still pitching, is there more than one Matthews?
  13. Bomba ball, better than nothing.
  14. Lewis hit a home run to start the Spring Training season, it seems, that was a bad thing. Early success seems to work against him.
  15. Jeffers' bat and glove both suck this spring, so a DFA would be foolish.
  16. Not even close, but, if that is true, you make sense.
  17. It would be sad to have a rookie who CAN hit Major League pitching quite well but whose glove work is as steady as a knuckle ball.
  18. Unless they are trying to get the equivalent of Nelson Cruz, it is really of zero concern. Defense and pitching are looking to be a problem, not some one whose glove is near meaningless.
  19. Not relating to single person but I found a chart of best and worst Spring Training teams from 2009 to 2023, from those 15 years I found best team has a 53 percent chance of not making the Post Season, but the worst team has an 86 percent chance of not making the Post Season. Make out of that what your own bias says -------------------------------------------------- At this point , Jeffers is showing Vazquez's bat and Camargo's glove.
  20. RBI, just like winning games, are not important; such is said in the spirit of Charles Ponzi.
  21. I wonder what they could get for Wallner, Jeffers and Lewis in a trade?
  22. It looks like they still need a bat first catcher.
