  1. Rortvedt is probably available fromt the Yankees.
  2. LOL, you mean maybe Julien is worth maybe 10 or 20 minutes of Burnes!🤯
  3. Professional sports people do not think he is ready, probably.
  4. The ability to catch possible doubles or home runs should never be under rated. Hamilton's incredible fielding skills are known, hopefully, Thompson is just as good.
  5. Better trade in the Pythagorean computer for a Commodore 64.
  6. He is a back-up for Buxton, his fielding skills are better than any one still on the team.
  7. Gee, Bily Hamilton must have been taken already.
  8. Batters hitting home runs in strings in one game is rare; pitchers striking out batter in strings in one game is common. Your analogy is faultiy. Pitcher controls the pitches and if he strike out a gent repeatedly he owns that batter, simple as that. PItchers get pulled for too many walks, not too many strike outs; so many here are trying to make batters striking out OK, but had snit fits when batters hit into ground outs, bizarre.
  9. A strike out shows the pitcher is controlling the batter, psychologically a HUGE difference.
  10. He was not a black hole till the last six to eight weeks.
  11. Neither is better than Hicks was in his early years; it would make no sense to bring in under-performing rookies to see them fail. Hicks has experience, his numbers in left field are good, he knows how to do things right, NOT , a flailing rookie.
  12. Either would be a waste of money at best.
  13. Hoskins is a gaping hole in defense, leave him alone.
  14. The spitball was not outlawed until 1934, which makes what Ruth did even a bit more memorable.
  15. Billy got 100.000 last year.
  16. He is heading to Japan.
  17. I was semi-sarcastic in my first post , but, they could get Billy Hamilton for FAR less money who is no worse at the plate and is a 10 times better fielder, just as quick runner, if you are going to only use him for special purposes. It would be interesting but makes no sense to pick up Bubba.
  18. Jenkins -- NO!
  19. They would do better bringing back Billy Hamilton; he is top rank fielder with a similar bat.🙂
  20. Maybe we can do a repeat of 2021: Blankenthorn, Celestino, Refsnyder, Cave, Rooker, there is always some one just as good in AAA. 😬
  21. Buxton, with Bellinger as a back-up. I do not play God as to what goes through a ball players head.
  22. Most likely would be in Left Field most of the time with stints at First Base.
  23. Without Taylor, Farmer, Gray, Maeda, Castro, Solano, Vazquez all varying aged veterans, the Twins would have NOT gone as far as they did. 2019: Cruz, C.J. Cron, Schoop, Garver, Castro, Gonzalez the Twins would have been the same 2018 also rans. The Prospects/rookies are not all that you/some here claim them to be. Absolute Rookies are a crap-shoot with a less than 50 percent chance of being equal, much less better, to the persons they replace.
  24. Sanchez would be nice to have; not sure why he floats around the league.

    A Man of Many Gloves

Ah Sandy, only had one real good year but he did on a team that went to the World Series; the aim of many who never do.
