For what it's worth, Thad Levine talked about this for a couple minutes on the "Inside Twins" show last Sunday. The main takeaway is that the scouts, crosscheckers, directors, etc are responsible for identifying and ranking the talent. The role of Falvey, Levine and other front office guys will be to talk with the agents (obviously not officially because that would be against the rules) and figure out the price for specific players and to then develop a bigger picture strategy for allocating resources over the entirety of the draft. Seems they are a little more hands on than Ryan would have been, but I think they are going to honor the work of the scouts and director (especially since they hired him for the job). Don't exactly know what it means for Deron Johnson.
