  1. Other than attempting to suppress the vote, why would they do exercises on election day? That is the oldest page in the book. Hopefully voters are not intimidated.
  2. I will be shocked if Beto wins. I think heitkamp has a better chance than him. I'd love to see Steve King get beat, Jason Lewis get beat, Scott Walker get beat, Gillum to win. The house is going blue, the Senate has a shot. I'm interested to see voter turnout, especially young voters. Supposedly they're expecting more young voters than ever before. That could make the results swing even more.
  3. I'm not worried about an established HC. I just want someone that comes from an atmosphere of winning. Don't mess with coaches from bad programs that haven't made an impact. Look at the Alabama staff, Clemson staff, Ohio State, Georgia etc.
  4. King might actually lose. I feel like a bad person, because every sign I see of his causes me to think less of the people supporting him. Funny, many people supporting Republican candidates don't have King signs. There are a lot of J.D. Sholten signs, and a lot of people in Facebook advocating to replace Steve King. Problem is his message isn't that far out of scope for this area.
  5. He gone. Smith fired by Fleck, d line coach will assume the position for the rest of the year. Previous Rutgers coordinator. Ok, Arkansas coordinator, Rutgers coordinator... Fleck, hire some coaches that come from success. Even if they aren't FBS coaches, get guys that are going to be elite. Don't just talk about it.
  6. I've long believed our government should be sued over climate change. I'd love to see the arguments the Trump administration makes on this. I'd like to think it would settle it once and for all, but I'm sure people will find a way to spin it.
  7. I don't mind the Vikings being under the radar. The 2 turnovers cost them the game against NO, and they had the Rams on the ropes. The bills game is still a bad one. Now they have a week off to get healthy and prepare for the bears. I don't think the bears are that good, and hopefully Vikings will keep the throttle down and crush them.
  8. The offense didn't have to do much. Lions took away Thielen, and no Diggs meant most the offense was taken away. Treadwell has become a good third option, but more of a possession receiver. Rudolph was more disappointing to me. Thielen had double coverage every single play, and he couldn't find any open space. Maybe it is the scheme, but he has been an absolute non factor in this offense.
  9. I think we all gave them credit for that win. Despite the record, Fresno State hasn't really beaten anyone good. The problem is how inept this team has looked the past 2 years. Talent, or age doesn't fix that.
  10. Lions trying to take away Theilen is working.
  11. The DC hire never made sense from the beginning. Fleck needs to be more careful with hires in the future.
  12. Progress to the next AD and football coach. Won't be sorry to see Coyle gone.
  13. At least fleck was honest post game.
  14. Anybody watch the game today? I thought this was the last winnable big ten game. The only saving grace for this season is a win against Bucky.
  15. That is a shame. Rhinos are being driven to extinction by poaching, and tigers are losing more habitat every day.
  16. Up to 15000 now? Is this really necessary? Are they being sent to build houses and facilities? Or help expedite processing asylum seekers? I don't remember Obama or Bush doing this many rallies. Trump never stopped after the election.... and people continue to go listen. I don't get it... I mean, I get why Trump does it, I don't get why people continue to support the habit.
  17. You forgot squi and pj...
  18. I think many would agree with that. Vikings outplayed the Saints for the most part.
  19. Brazil has been a mess for a long time. A decade ago it was suppose to grow leaps and bounds. It hasn't, because the system is corrupt and hasn't been fixed. How confident are you in this election result? Even with this guy, Brazil shouldn't factor in much to your feelings about world politics.
  20. Prevent a person like Trump ever being elected again. Democrats and Republicans should have a vetting process that weeds people like him out. Make him run as an independent. The ugly side of the gop has come out from hiding with Trump in power, because he empowers them. If someone like Jeb Bush or John Kasich had won, the narrative would be much different.
  21. That interception was a bad decision from the get go. Yeah, Diggs stopped, but he wasn't open anyway. He should have allowed him to clear, or just take the sack. That is my only complaint of cousins, is that he gets reckless when the pocket is breaking down. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he is playing poorly.
  22. That inception is only partly on him, but that is only one play. He's gotten lucky a handful of times in this game, and gets lucky in others.
  23. Treadwell getting some good looks. Big mistakes losing this game. Cousins has to protect the ball better to beat good teams.
  24. Details... Since when does those factor into emotional responses?
  25. All this violence in the name of hate, and Trump will continue with the rallies. LaBombo, you criticized me for the Nazi remarks. I'm interested if you still find my comments reaching too far? I reached my breaking point with the gop long ago. Trump certainly is a consequence of the rhetoric, as are these acts of violence. Perhaps the party learns after Trump, but I think it might be too late. As long as people like Rush Limbaugh (who still says they bomber could be a false flag), and Tucker Carlson directing the narrative, the party will continue down this dangerous path.
