    I admire YOUR consistency of repeatedly repeating yourself. It seems to be, in general, a consistent strategy for many these days in many arenas.

    Josh Bell has led the Minnesota Twins in RBIs for nearly every single day of the 2026 regular season, maintaining a continuous grip on the team's top spot for over 90 consecutive days. I guess every position on this team could be improved, but overall seasonal RBI consistency, is not one of Bell’s shortcomings this year. Streak probably over soon then? And he gets hot for the playoff push? Is that how the ebb and flow of streaky hitting works?

    Especially if the call some make for trading our consistent all year RBI leader (63, 11th in AL, .333 RISP), Josh Bell, is executed.

    No. I didn’t say that. You are. Boston just did and is. Detroit did last year. Minnesota did in 2006 I think it was. Cleveland always seems to lately. Because teams won’t win every series, as you pointed out, and might even get swept in one, the mass of teams at around .500 that go on a run in the last two months will be in. Plodding with mostly 2-1 series wins will be at home come playoffs. Pace? Pace, like momentum, is imaginary, can change back and forth at any moment, and only a tired retrospective observation.

    We will see. I disagree.. I submit it will take more than that at this point in the season. Teams with win streaks will of course be winning series, but it will take more than 2-1 series wins now. I’ll take a picture of the standings and visit this at season’s end.
