  1. Singer leaves with 105 pitches and a slightly separated shoulder.
  2. And there it is from Morneau "Well, he's been consistent".
  3. 100 pitches for Singer..... will his arm fall off?
  4. Did I see Celestino running off the bench and calling for that fly ball? I must be seeing things.....
  5. Farrell gets a K. Doing good. Better pull him. Oh.... that's right.... has to pitch to 3 batters.
  6. Only makes sense if Baldelli is your manager, I guess. Goes great with the rest of the decisions that make no sense.
  7. Sano and Astudillo 3 and 4. Who makes this lineup up anyway?
  8. Kirilloff misses the meat right down the middle with no movement. Why can't we smash their "mistakes"?
  9. I love the "but the umpire is consistent" when he is calling it wrong. Right. That just makes him more wrong. More wrong never equals OK or right.
  10. If Ober throws it in the zone, it is being tagged.
  11. No error on Kirilloff. Pathetic. People can take those defensive stats and stuff them. Official scorers are charity workers.
  12. What the hell is wrong with Kirilloff today? First the bonehead base running cost us runners on second and third, and now this! Three runs in the balance.
  13. Wander Javier (4-for-6, 3B, 2B, 4 R, 2 RBI) Good to see!
  14. He is not ready at the plate, but defense is his calling card, supposedly. If he is not ready to play the outfield after 5-6 years in professional ball, when is he supposed to be ready? Playing the field doesn't change, it has no better pitching to hit, etc. He runs horrible routes to the ball, many responsible for not getting to and catching it. He needs to be coached better and positioned better while he is here. That is for sure. I can live with he can't hit and isn't ready for MLB pitching, but no excuses for playing the field.
  15. Why does Celestino play so shallow? So far, we see him running horrible routes backwards and not catching catchable drives if he was playing at a reasonable depth, especially in the late innings. Haven't they learned anything from Buxton? Play deeper and don't run into the wall. With Celestino, he can't even get there. He just runs a bad route and then stops short and plays it off the wall. Playing double depth, which he should have, he would have caught that double on the fly and saved the excitement.
  16. Did that really happen? We won a close one? pinch me.
  17. Talk about the Twins giving up quick innings at the plate. The last 3 inning were ridiculous.
  18. Only 12 pitches. Can Rogers take the 9th?
  19. This means Robles in the 9th? Yikes. We need some runs in the top of the 9th. 7 Pitches must have stressed Duffey out.
  20. Ya but...... don't you believe that new wisdom that RBI are meaningless? You know, the same folks that think hits with RISP ARE valuable.
