    Sano is very athletic!

My guess is that Dave St Peter will have these T's for sale at Target Field the next home stand. All about the brand!

Somebody needs to put this, "Total System Failure" on some t-shirts. I bet they'd sell really well.

In the second go around for Terry the Padres have 20 more wins than the Twins.

    https://youtu.be/zbnJo88kuP8 A little Bowie RIP.

IMO this sums it up: Aaron Gleeman ✔ ‎‎@AaronGleeman Here's my question: If we assume the Twins front office has *not* done a poor job, then what would it look like if they had done a poor job?

Lots of shortstops and a few catchers which of course we don't need is the likely reason for a lack of interest. Attendance has been down the last few years which equals less income so my guess is they won't spend big. Anyone know which teams are blocked out this year for overspending?

Terrible baseball game by two bad teams.

Isn't there an unwritten rule about putting your high OBP guys at the top of the order? If somebody would just write them all down it would be a lot easier!

Like Brian my first job was delivering papers, the Mpls. Star afternoon paper. They actually had 2 editions back in those days. The Star was never the same after Ben Franklin passed. The best day was when I opened the bundle of papers with a headline that the Senators were moving to the Twin Cities. What a happy day for a young baseball fan with no remorse felt for the people of the DC area, by the way. Who could have guessed that all these years later that happy day would bring so much fear and loathing?

I think it's very hard to change low obp-high k guys into a silk purse once they make the majors. These things should be done in the minors, if it's possible at all, and if they make it to majors and are still low obp-high k guys, as the late great Denny Green would say, they are who we thought they were.

NO!!!! Stop screwing with the game.

This team has a real hard time benching anyone with tenure or a muti-year contract no matter how bad it gets. Terry said yesterday he is accountable, however he has a lifetime contract, so how is he accountable if no matter how bad things get he keeps his job? See a pattern? Change is hard to come by with the Twins.

Even Dick is having a hard time being positive, lucky Roy always has the lipstick.

If you can get the Sux to think about #5 they will cool off really fast.

IMO they should turn Plouffe into a utility guy. 1b, RF, DH, 3B and 2B, he could be a poor mans Zobrist. Sano is the future and has to be good for this team to be really good. By the time all these young guys are ready to take that step Plouffe will be gone. Defer to what is best for Sano, imo.
  19. Winston Smith
Dick just peed in his pants.

    Another unwritten rule.
  21. Winston Smith
Easy, if you don't like it don't read it move on to the next one. Somehow we ended up with this free speech thingy and with that goes the freedom to ignore. Both work well when used properly.
  22. Winston Smith
Aren't at least two of them dead?
  23. Winston Smith
I think between now and July 31 any player over 25 yo should be on the block. Get what you can and move on. This is year 6 now of sub par baseball, even last year with the exception of May they have been a very poor team. Whatever plan Terry has isn't working, time to change the plan because we know that Terry isn't getting fired.
  24. Winston Smith
Lucky the Twins would never have players that use PED. No Twins cheaters!

The Brewers seem to have a lot of bad pitching.
