    I'd love to see Polanco, but not like this.

    Polanco hasn't played 3B since rookie ball in 2011, I can't imagine how he would be a defensive replacement for Nunez. Just judging by fielding stats, Polanco seems like a liability on the field. 28 errors last year and already 3 this year in only 9 games. Unless his fielding really picks I can't see him forcing a trade, especially this year of a guy like Dozier.

    I would still say the long con Boyer project yielded results, even if it didn't result in a Sano HR.

    I also highly recommend For the Love of the Game. It has sappy stuff, but it does really tell a great story. Vin Scully was the perfect guy to do the stadium voice, the Yankee fans are just spot on and as a baseball fan it does tug a little bit at the heartstrings.

    I will say if Ryan came out before 2015 and said he plans for this team to win the World Series and be the best team that the Minnesota franchise has ever fielded, Twins Daily would have had a heyday at what a disillusion GM our favorite team had. While "pretty decent" isn't the best prediction in the world, I think it was fairly accurate one forecasting the 2015 Twins.

    The Twins sign Boyer, have him in their bullpen all year long. Despite poor K numbers and FIP, he puts up a good ERA. Twins let him go to free agency and with his numbers from last year, gets a contract with the Brewers. Milwaukee brings him in late in tie game tonight. Sano goes yard. Twins winning streak goes to 4. It was the long con.

    I think it really depends on how Plouffe progresses. Nunez to 3rd, which would put Polonco as the main back up for all infield positions for the time being, which I am guessing he would get a few starts in there to spell guys.

    How many times has Sano been pulled out where it's almost 100 percent chance he would come up again?

    I would say Sano has deceptive speed from the standpoint that he is a huge man that weighs 270 pounds. With zero outs, 1 run game and possibly the fastest player in the major leagues sitting on your bench, it's a no brainer IMO.

    Weaver throws slow. Nolasco excellent except 2nd inning. Plouffe 3 hits, triple short of cycle. Top 8th, tie game.
