Clearly this loss is all Baldelli’s fault. ducks*
  2. cHawk
    Yes Thorpe does count

So which pitching prospects could we see this year? First there’s Ober, then what?

Kirilloff was the replacement for Rosario, not Cave. Rosario’s value wasn’t anywhere close to what he had to be paid ($10M) whereas Cave, whilst a lot worse, is only paid $0.6M which is pretty close to his value.

They don’t have the least talent in baseball (quite far from it) but they DO NOT play as a team.

This is a loss where you blame the players. Donaldson - I have nothing. A major leaguer catches that, DP and out. He’s a good fielder, so WTF. Rortvedt - Oh FFS. What an idiotic move. A middle school catcher would get benched for that, but we didn’t enough bench depth to take him out. D!ck move by Andrus for sure, but Rortvedt let it happen to him. I thought we would be able to rely on Duffey. How foolish of me. How do you regress that much in one offseason?

Why have they completely fallen off a cliff?
  9. cHawk
Did Duffey and Thielbar take NyQuil this offseason?

    Nice pitch selection Kepler

IDK who I’m supposed to blame for this. Duffey for not being able to strike anyone out? Rortvedt for being a ****ing idiot? Maeda for loading the bases?
  12. cHawk
ffs Duffey. How do you regress that much in one offseason
  13. cHawk
    What the actual ****

If only our pen wasn’t historically bad at stranding runners...
  15. cHawk
    Three quick outs please
  16. cHawk
    We’ll take those.
  17. cHawk
At least the pen pitched pretty well today. That’s a positive, right?
  18. cHawk
Could this win be what gets the team going?
  19. cHawk
We still have to get 3 outs tho
  20. cHawk
    THERE WE GO
  21. cHawk
    At least Refsnyder did something
  22. cHawk

I don’t think Rocco is as horrible as some say he is, but I don’t see how he can be back in 2022 unless there’s a massive turnaround.

It would be embarrassing. They would be in the history book as the worst team ever (12-150). Ironically they would’ve been remembered as a projected playoff contender.
