  1. I don't think it's a browser issue. I can change mine in chrome, IE11 and Firefox. It may be a "theme" issue - i.e. whether you are on Twins Daily 4.0 (the desktop/traditional site) or mobile 2.0 but I'm not sure that's it either. I wonder if it has anything to do with the number of posts you have? Wouldn't have thought so but now I see you're at 144 ashbury -- so maybe it isn't letting you change your member title until you reach a certain level?
  2. Apparently some people have the appropriate screen that allows you to change it and others don't. Contact Brock or one of the moderators if you can't do so. Brock may be able to fix the overall problem and the mods can usually change your member title. A reminder to others who are trying to change their member title: 1. Click on your user name in the top right hand portion of your screen. 2. Click on the "My settings" link 3. You should be on the "General Account Settings" page 4. You may (should?) be able to change your "member title" in the 5th item: "Profile Information" It would be interesting to see if there is a pattern in who is able/isn't able to change settings. So if you respond, please add whether you use Twins Daily 4.0 (traditional desktop) or Twins Mobile 2.0 and what browser you are using. I use TD 4.0 and chrome.
  3. Rhett Bollinger ‏@RhettBollinger 5h Arcia said he tweaked his lower back on a swing in Friday's game. But that it's feeling better and he's taking BP in the cages today. Maybe just being cautious with him.
  4. I think Arcia is day-to-day with a sore back or side or something.
  5. tWins, tWins, tWins (And I really like Jack Morris on commentary).
  6. Berardino always calls it "Raw Sewage Coliseum" or just RAC.
  7. Willingham Swan Song HR?
  8. So glad to see you finding the joy in just playing ball, AJ. I really enjoyed the article and look forward to more of your posts.
  9. Thanks for posting this, Seth. I've enjoyed a number of Johnson articles this year. Nice to see that the Kernels get decent local coverage.
  10. Enjoy the rest of the game -- and bring them back. I've unfortunately seen all I (didn't) want to see.
  11. So glad to see you posting here and looking forward to some more of your insights. Hope all is well.
  12. Meyer had a pretty rough night tonight, too although it sounds like his control was better .... but Indianoplis scored 4 off him in 2 innings. Of course, Indy has scored 14 so far tonight. May had a tough place for a debut, though. A really good team on the road. Cross-country flight with lots of time to think about it. Family and friends there. Give him a mulligan for this one.
  13. Apparently because he was used to Fryer catching him in Rochester and Suzuki has to catch Hughes tomorrow. But I agree, they talk so much about how Suzuki calms down pitchers, etc. you'd think they could have used him tonight.
  14. Ugh. To start out an inning so well and then have this. Ugh, ugh, ugh.
  15. Then this year they'll probably be gigantic. Perfect growing conditions this summer ... and plenty of moisture. Crop a little later than usual.
  16. Probably not since I doubt the 4 of us even finished 1/2 an ear. We'd get these odd little lessons from time to time ... like cooking nettles (not stinging ones) and other greens. Probably why I've never understood how Southerners can actually like collard greens.
  17. LOL. My mom made us try field corn when we were kids, just so we'd understand what a development that sweet corn was!!
  18. You wouldn't be missing it here. I know one guy estimates he's going to be cutting about 3,000 ears. Wish I could send it to you by telepathy!!!!
  19. Wish some of you urban dwellers were closer. Farmers have so much sweet corn, they're going to end up chopping it for silage. Most of 'em just grow enough for their families and some to give away but this year is an incredibly bumper crop.
  20. That should boost his confidence. Thanks Willy.
  21. Welcome to Oakland, Mr. May...
  22. Meyer and Achter having a rough time in Indianapolis. Maybe its good that the road trip didn't happen ... of course maybe y'all could have changed the results.
  23. 90% of ballplayers look better with their caps on So when someone falls in that other 10%, I notice.
