We are talking about the same song but wikipedia (the source of all knowledge) doesn't list an Everly Brothers cover despite a number of other people who think there was one according to Google. It was covered by Jan & Dean and by Gary Lewis & the Playboys, though. And when I think about it, I'm betting its that last version I remember best cuz I think I had it on an album somewhere.
Same song. Different covers. But since I'm rarely aware of who was singing the original, I associate it with Phil and Don (and after all, we claim them as Iowans).
And since we didn't get any Everly Brothers last night: Oh, listen to the falling rain Pitter patter, pitter patter Oh, listen, listen to the falling rain Pitter patter, pitter patter Oh, listen, listen to the falling rain
See, that's a blessing. I don't get colds very often either but I can almost always count on one the first part of March -- changing seasons or combo cold/allergies or something. For some reason, if I use Zicam immediately it pretty much stops it its tracks for me. Then I don't need the Nyquil. I could actually see how some people could get addicted to the nighttime Nyquil, though. Must have a high alcohol content.
Have you ever tried Zicam? I know they say most of this stuff doesn't work but if I use Zicam the minute I feel a sniffle, it usually stops it (or at least makes it not so severe). Maybe its mental but it works for me. But given how far along you already are, it wouldn't be any use.
In honor of our recent songs discussions in the game threads, this is how I feel about Gardenhire: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right, here I am, Stuck in the middle with you, Yes I'm stuck in the middle with you, Stuck in the middle with you It's time for a change. No need to argue all the fine points.
Guilty Pleasures.... The first warm day of Spring Windows open, top open or down, breaking the speed limit ... And the Beach Boys' "Endless Summer" tracks. Nothing makes me feel younger ... and nothing else makes me feel like summer will soon be here.

You know, I'm actually considered a pretty good cook ..... But I can see that around here I'd be a massive failure. Cuz you'd get nuts in most chocolate things. And you'd never get those runny eggs.
