    The key to tonight is preventing walks (Hughes best strength) and preventing extra outs defensively. The Jays are going to hit their Home Runs, especially off of Hughes, if he can limit the damage to solo shots the Twins have a good chance to win.

    I'm not sure he should be commended for getting them back on the edge of competitiveness after 4 very poor seasons, in fact I would say that getting them back on the edge of competitiveness after 4+ years is the absolute bare minimum of expectations for a GM

    Actually, I would take them at 4:1 and maybe even 3:1, the Angels are really falling apart lately, and other than Toronto the rest of the WC contenders aren't very scary.
