    I think he is still trade able the high price of pitching. he is still young, you never know about a pitcher a new year a out instead of a error, new help with a pitch, a new team, coach, it's a mental retardation.

    I would sign Zack 8 years 25 m go with the best. In 3 years he worth 30m, in 6 he is worth 40m, you can flip him any time for a boat load of prospects. CC, Pettitte, Doc, lee, ect. all did fine. Even Clemens still wants to pitch, What is not to like, you can buy insurance too.

    Twins gave away there #1 hitter, if they give away the #2 there won't be many runs to drive in. The defense is hurt already and the future is no where in site just as well donate the money to the fiscal cliff.

    No way, I still expect the Twins to sign Greinke, Sanchez, and Dempster to long-term contracts and go for it all in 2013!

    Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com hears that Joe Blanton's deal with the Angels is for two years and $15 million. Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register says the deal also includes a team option for a third season. Previous reports said that the pact was only for one year, but apparently that's not the case. Blanton posted a 4.71 ERA in 2012 for the Phillies and Dodgers, which was his lowest mark in three years. It's possible that the Angels could still be in the hunt for another starter even after acquiring Blanton and Tommy Hanson, but this should effectively rule them out for Zack Greinke.
