  1. You don't know what the future is. The Twins would win the world series with those 4 pitchers.
  2. He is so full of sheet! He got Correia and Sanchez mix up. He paid for the wrong guy why won't he admit that? Cheap....
  3. Dodgers signed INF Dallas McPherson to a minor league contract. The 32-year-old former top prospect hit .265/.344/.490 with 17 homers and 62 RBI in 81 games at the Triple-A level in 2012. He's always shown the propensity to mash the baseball, and could get a look from the Dodgers if the unproven Luis Cruz struggles early on
  4. Giants signed OF Cole Gillespie to a minor league contract. The 28-year-old is coming off a strong season at Triple-A Reno where he hit .308/.390/.494 with 13 homers, 66 RBI and 11 stolen bases. The former third round pick possesses a nice blend of power and speed and should compete for a reserve outfield job with the defending champions.
  5. White Sox signed RHP Jeff Gray to a minor league contract. Gray had a rough go of it with the Twins in 2012, compiling a 5.71 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 26/22 K/BB ratio over 52 innings of work. He may have a chance to compete for a job in the White Sox bullpen
  6. Indians signed LHP Scott Kazmir to a minor league contract.
  7. The Twins need to do more than sign minor league contracts. That just proves how dirt cheap Ryan is. He is a dirt bag!
  8. Scott Diamond recently underwent surgery to remove a bone chip from his left elbow.
  9. Scott Diamond recently underwent surgery to remove a bone chip from his left elbow.
  10. Twins signed RHP Rich Harden to a minor league contract. He's been given an invitation to spring training. Harden missed the entire 2012 season following surgery to repair a torn capsule in his right shoulder, but he's reportedly healthy now and trying for a comeback. The 31-year-old hasn't had any success since 2009 and has, of course, had major problems with staying healthy, but it doesn't hurt to see what he might have left.
  11. Why don't you do next season instead of last? Then we can see how good you really are.
  12. How much garbage do we need on our team? Don't we have enough of our own already?
  13. The Marlins could beat the Twins pretty easily.
  14. I enjoyed Bark very much sorry to hear of his loss. He has my repect and may he RIP.
  15. Why not just sign a FA?
  16. What kid of gun does the Cubs have? We should get one of them!
  17. Patrick Mooney of CSN Chicago reports that the Cubs have signed free agent right-hander Edwin Jackson to a four-year, $52 million contract. Source: Patrick Mooney on Twitter
  18. You do not save money for the future by putting in your pocket. You invest it or you lose it.
  19. I don't think any of them will be much tell Sept.
  20. Twins signed RHP Mike Pelfrey to a one-year, $4 million contract. The deal was agreed to on Sunday then finalized Thursday morning after the 28-year-old right-hander passed his physical. Pelfrey made only three starts in 2012 due to an elbow injury that eventually required Tommy John reconstructive surgery and owns a pedestrian 4.36 career ERA. He's doubtful to hold any fantasy value in 2013.
  21. Jim Bowden of ESPN.com reports that the Cubs are "now the front runner" for Edwin Jackson.
  22. Cubs signed RHP Carlos Villanueva to a two-year, $10 million contract. Villanueva has registered a decent 4.11 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 7.4 K/9 over his last 232 1/3 innings, operating as both a starter and a reliever for the Blue Jays. He'll be used primarily out of the rotation in Chicago and could carry some value in deeper mixed fantasy leagues. Source: Jon Heyman on Twitte

  24. CBS Sports' Jon Heyman hears that Edwin Jackson is still "in play" for the Cubs following the signing of Carlos Villanueva.
