    Potential Darwin Award winner. Speaking of rockets, we might get lucky on our upcoming Florida trip. With about a 24 hour delay (entirely possible) we could get to see a SpaceX Falcon launch on a resupply mission to the ISS. Fingers crossed.

    Yeah, well, A ) I despise labels. B ) It distracts from taking a topic seriously, a notorious Trump tactic. C ) I won't claim innocence here, but I prefer modifying my behavior instead of insulting myself for it, and then pretending that's all it takes.

    Meh, the bacteria are most likely contaminants from within the ISS itself, introduced during EVA's or docking procedures or some venting.     I have a hard time seeing how saying 'men are pigs' is going to lead to any improvement, whether true or not. I suggest folks take a look at some of their own behaviors; there have been some game thread comments that are in really poor taste, for example. If we all cleaned up our own acts first, perhaps improvement in the future will follow.

    Copying my FB post: My gut hunch is (and it's only a gut hunch) is that 50%+ of the male members of Congress should resign by this standard. My second gut hunch: Franken will not resign but will accept censure from the Senate. He will not seek re-election. The other thing I'd like to see is that he donate the proceeds from his new book to assist victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.
