  1. Thread winner. Clicking like was not sufficient, I had to run to the kitchen to get a glass of milk to drink so that it could come out my nose for this.
  2. Concurrent concurrences? Anyone else impressed?
  3. Now now, we pinky swore we weren't going to reveal that analogy, remember?
  4. You just trade all your high priced players for equivalent young talent, and then use the savings to sign new free agents. Genius, eh?
  5. Chisenhall fails to capitalize on Herrmann's overslide.
  6. The time lag for my MLB.com feed versus everyone else may not make it apparent, but I called that *before* the HR.
  7. That Petco is a neutral park? That park factors are for Poindexters? What, is this a trick question?
  8. Everything I learned about General Managin' I learned from OOTP.
  9. Alex: Tim Stauffer Contestant: Why does Mike Pelfrey need to go six?
  10. I'm sure you'll not misinterpret my clicking Like. I'm also sure he was awesome.
  11. Pretty good. He accepted the called third strike with grace and aplomb.
  12. Dick mentions Kluber is perfect through two. You can't jinx the other team that way, right?
  13. They need to hurry before global warming makes the oceans any deeper.
  14. In their drinking days they have done worse, too.
  15. If he has become one in two weeks in Rochester I am prepare to be pleasantly surprised. There's much more to playing CF than being fast.
  16. Must be, because it sure ain't for me. Ish. Ick. One for each.
  17. I don't think the league sees Plouffe as sustainably above average and he doesn't play a prime position. I don't think the league sees Escobar as more than utility. I was mostly reacting to what I thought was a perception that we could feed the prospect pipeline in a way that the Span trade permitted us. Troyhobbs has clarified a bit, in the meantime. I kind of don't want to contribute further than this to a tangent in this thread, though.
  18. These three together probably would not bring in return what Span brought. And they would be tough to package. Individually, you get future Eduardo Escobars and Logan Darnells in return.
  19. I for one welcome our new low-offense overlords.
  20. Tom Brunansky as Quality Assurance Engineer. Who knew?
  21. More experienced batters taking the slider in the dirt for a ball instead of swinging futilely?
