"Other players on the roster who are not necessarily outfielders by trade but can stand out there with a glove include Eduardo Escobar, Chris Herrmann and Eduardo Nunez." Oof.

You're funny and we can't understand you.

He forgot to mention the 20 triples (in 500 AB).

Amazing, the difference one comma makes.

Not always. The reverse of that worked on our playground too: "Hey Handsome... no, not you, Horseface."

That might indeed make it easier to hit.

I went to school with a girl named Fan Twins Town Chi.

"He's not good enough to be making catches like that." I thought Arcia kind of non-chalanted that one at the end too. Needs to chalant them.

Based on what I saw the last couple of weeks, put that phrase on speed dial.

If January is too late to plan for March I will never go anywhere.

    Nick Burdi warming up? Kewl.

Nice house, dismal suburb-from-hell surroundings, and half an hour from the Twins complex. Even someone from Oakland might say, "there's no there there." The price was right, however. Geez, my buddy Graham isn't much mystery to the Sox tonight, is he?

All seriousness aside, no, we didn't manage to find the time. Mrs Ash was working most of the days, and the side trip to Miami pretty much soaked up the sightseeing time for her. Baseball predominated for me.

Lehigh Acres? Yes. [Only ChiTown and a few others will have any chance at that'un. Scratch that, try again.] Grand Forks? No, still on my bucket list.

They're angling for a trade to get Graham back.

Arcia has a built-in advantage over the Hammer in that he does not have a chronic bad back and will at least leave his feet when it's necessary to catch a humpback liner that would drop in.

Reason 3: You don't sign a guy to what is widely viewed as a hometown deal, and then trade him. Not lightly, at least, and not because he's at some perceived peak in value.

Fair to say nobody's giving Torii Hunter any credit on defense.
  24. ashbury
Sad would be talking about staying there.
