I really hope that Universal DH is not adopted past this season

Am I the only one who drooled when reading this lineup? What a team we have!

I am really upset with the owners tbh. The obviosuly don't have baseball, or the citizens of America at the forefront of their minds, only their own pocket books. Its just a shame that they are the ones who get to make the descisions. I am very dissapointed that they apparently won't make a counter offer. I suspect that they really don't want to play a season. I still hold out hope for something to happen this year. But I have to say I am siding with the players.

I know this article was about batting titles, but I think the other great thing that Mauer has going for him is his impact on the community/popularizing baseball in greater MN. He was a fan favorite (especially during his catching years). He is also a very good man who continues to impact the community, even after retirement.

If there is no deadline, the Twins Quantity over Quality will really pay off. Especially with our great bullpen.

That was a very interesting point about not being able to acquire starters during the season, due to many more teams being "in the race". Quantity over quality, when coupled with our great bullpen, sounds like a really good plan right now. SKOL Twins!

Over on all but Cy Young. I want that to happen, but I don't think we have enough of a big name. And if Gerrit Cole stays healthy, the Yankee bias will previal on the "experts" and he will win the Cy Young...

    What about Jessie Crain?

As the Joker once said: " I only have one questions. Where is Justin Verlander?"

What are his splits? Is he consistant from both sides?

I have only attended one minor league game, and that was the 2018 Chatanooga Lookouts (Twins), vs ironically the Pensecola Blue Wahoos (Twins the next year). Anyways, Just as I was settling into my $10 seat right behind home plate, this guy named Brent Rooker juiced a ball over the center field wall. But, if votes are for demoting him, I would vote for Cave. Save Kirilloff for the Big Push in September, or whenever we need some added juice to get our lineup going. I would vote for Smeltzer or Pineda. Again, save Rich Hill for a late season clutch callup. Interesting side note, given the talk of expanded rosters, etc this season, we may well see the major league debut of some of our pitching prospects after all! Also, and possibly even more interesting, is the fact that if MLB went with the 3 hub plan, we would have to face the Yankees exactly 0 times until the postseason! Now THAT Twins fans is a proper Midwest glass half full look on life!
