  1. Nice for Rooker to get his first homer in his childhood favorite's ballpark. I have to say, I am impressed with Rooker's at bats so far. It was always said he strikes out a lot so I expected to see some wild chases. But he takes some really close pitches.
  2. Sorry, Willians, we can't give you full points for that, your helmet stayed on.
  3. I do, too. Especially because other players with limited potential will often take awful swings-and-misses at the worst possible moments. Wade never does that.
  4. Cave has practiced bunting.
  5. And yet another baserunning blunder by Eddie. I just don't understand why he stopped. I mean, it looked like he was already two thirds of the way to to third. If you're aggressive, be really aggressive and run to the base at full speed...
  6. Oh no, how does the ump call this ball a strike?!
  7. Why get nice and easy outs if you can do it that way too... Great play by Wade. Terrible pick off throw by Hill though.
  8. His second, I think. Yesterday or so they said on the broadcast that he had played in 39 of 40 games.
  9. The hard contact Tigers hitters are getting off Hill is scary. Even if it's foul.
  10. Yeah, Eddie's throw was perfect. Such a shame La Tortuga couldn't get hold of that ball.
  11. And of course our first baserunner ends ups in a double play one batter later...
  12. It's really painful to watch this offense at the moment.
  13. Totally agree. But speaking of Odo's high fastballs, during his last start I got the impression that he barely threw it. Was that just my imagination or doesn't he throw them that often anymore?
  14. Yeah, that was a rough welcome to the big leagues. I hope we see some of that promised power. Would be cool to see him settle in right away.
  15. Rooker is hitting cleanup in the second game. Rocco sure seems to trust his power.
  16. You nailed it. Thank you for this post. It's a message we shouldn't ever forget.
  17. If you just want to get an impression, you can watch this one game between the Orioles and the White Sox in 2015 on YouTube where they played without fans. And where they didn't play crowd noise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2r0H6FqW94Q
  18. If only the ump knew the zone as well as Wade...
  19. And it feels like so much more fun to see a game against the Indians than against the Royals.
  20. That was nerve-wracking. But we got the win.
  21. At this point I would even prefer Alcala over Rogers in an one-run-game. I hope Rogers proves me wrong, though.
  22. We are hearing way too many sharp cracks of Indians bats.
