I can't remember the exact question, but Jake Odorizzi was asked which former teammate he would like to punk, and he said Lance Lynn. I feel like if Odo comes out to say something not positive about you, it can't be good. Odo seems like the type of guy to either say something positive about you or keep his mouth shut.

C'mon baby blues! Bring us some '87 magic!

When I see promos for 2021 season tickets I have hope we'll all be alive next year.

    Bleeping Sano!

I'm super-glad the kid's doing well, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. I bet the boyfriend that I would have to wear a Brett Favre Packers jersey for an entire day if Dobnak wins the ROY. His stuff isn't dominating enough to keep up these kinds of numbers even in a shortened season. Plus, we're playing a small amount of teams. Hitters are eventually going to figure him out.

    False. It's a balk.
  8. shortround81
Yep. Not that it would've been okay in previous years, but this year especially people need to be more cognizant of how "harmless jokes" are actually very harmful to those who have been in positions of being oppressed.

We can back away from the ledge, Twins fans.

    Good job, Ehire!

We got lucky on that foul ball.
  12. shortround81
Exactly. I'm glad he apologized. Although, I do feel like the "I thought I was doing a karate chop" excuse seemed like a weak explanation. Do I think punishment would do any good? Yes. It'll show MLB will not let something like this go by. Does he need to be banned for the season? No. But, maybe a game suspension and sensitivity training (which I know is probably corporate BS that people don't get a lot out of) would send a message across the league racism; unintentional or not, will not be tolerated.

One doesn't have to be a Nazi to use that gesture. Whether he meant to be racist or not he should've known that wasn't okay. Know better. Do better.
  14. shortround81
I'm proud of you for using sarcasm to minimize a hurtful and racist gesture.

In 2020 how does an adult with a basic high school education NOT know what that was. Even after Hendricks tried to pull his arm down, he did it again.

Morrison struck me as a real d-bag. Wasn't too sad to see him leave.

First Zach Plesac gets Ubered back to Cleveland for going out with friends. Now this in Oakland. You're embarrassing us, MLB. https://sports.yahoo.com/as-outfielder-defends-bench-coach-ryan-christenson-after-apparent-nazi-salute-213617303.html

Overall I'm not concerned, but what the h*** is happening?!?!
  19. shortround81
    Morneau with the Astros shade!
  20. shortround81
I had the hugest crush on Matt Walbeck when he played for the Twins!
  21. shortround81
True. I'm sure a lot of people won't notice. I think a lot of people are going to debate if it's a gopher or beaver.

The boyfriend got me one for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. He said they were hard to find, and they came with an obvious typo - Twin "Cites" instead of Twin "Cities." I love him, and the shirts, but I don't think he realized it until I pointed it out.

Let's hope Lewis can shake off whatever was troubling him during Spring Training. Seemed like a good kid when I saw him at the Twins Caravan.

No matter what happens this season, at least we're not the Mets. Jeepers!

    Arraez struck out!
