    8th time in 10 games that Pelfrey doesnt get a 'quality' start OR pitch 6 innings. He is absolutely killing this staff & the broadcast crew is bending over backwards talkin about what a great game he pitched.

    Dozier is the top rated defensive 2B currently in UZR. If the Twins truly value defense--they dont but they like to say they do--they'll keep him up

    Ryan is over his head in 21st century baseball. He was a great GM for a underachieving 50-60m payroll w/retread players but isnt willing to try to do it w/100m

    From Gardy "I didn't want to send Arcia down," Gardenhire said. "I like watching him swing and the way he goes about his business. He's a young kid with things to learn and is swinging a little crazy right now, but there's a chance when he walks up that he'll hit a home run, and I enjoy that part of it. So he'll be back." Oswaldo is still 2nd to Mauer (laughable as any criticism of the team) in slugging. Seth got it correct when he stated Arcia needed 5 days in minors to get a 7th yr of service time, so they sat Arcia for a few games to make up a reason. Problem really is that Justin is the block to Arcia as they also want to figure out if Parmelee can play & take over @ 1B (or platoon w/Colabello).

    agree....that Super 2 date is getting closer/easier to avoid. These xtra starts never had anything to do with performance. Agree that promotion to Morales is based on Buxton's but New Brit could use a CF as they had to take 2 OFs off the street to fill the roster.

    2 yrs 139 days was the breakoff for 2012/2013 With the 45 days already passed this season, its got to be almost close to bein safe. 8 more shutout innings SAT nite.....wasted time

    recent struggles yes, but second on the team in slugging. Getting him down for 5 days to get the 7th year of team control is fine, but he should be back sooner than later. In reality, he is bein blocked by Morneau.

    had to leave quick, basically said Rosario wasnt paying full attention to baseball. In blowout games he was giving up ABs & lackadasical in the field. Told him he needs to have the same attention in blowout games than close games. This is an attention getter to him I suppose.

    Im sure if we called Texas this weekend and offerred PJ Walters for Joe Benson, that would seem like a fair deal to them

    18-28 (.409pct) puts Twins back on track for 96 losses AND this is before they add Walters/Deduno to the fold. What a summer of debauchery this will be!!!

    Im gonna bet on Hendriks or Benson getting DFAd tho it should be Butera, with Arcia goin down (Twins can get an extra yr of service time from him & Gardy is refusing to play him anyway). If they do Drew, I may back off on my hatred of the front office.
