    Sigh, big fan, very sad. Be grateful he left us with so much great music to remember him by.

    I'll be watching the game from the comfort of my living room. The beer is good (and cheaper), the company is better and the only people looking at me like a lunatic for talking to my television set will be my family. My dogs will likely not be watching the game as a result.

    I don't think it takes too much to understand why it was closed. Reviewing the last two pages reveals several, subtle snarky posts that's sole intent was to deride the Hicks trade, depending on how he played on any given night and whichever side of the divide one stood. It wasn't a healthy thread, the purpose of the thread was to revisit the Hicks/Murphy trade now that some time has passed and it's impact is more known. It had degenerated beyond that and was nothing more than a daily referendum on the trade and was getting fairly petty.

    It's too bad Perkins had his halcyon days here when the Twins were so bad. A 2013 Perkins on this team sure would be fun. Definitely one of my favourite players of the last 10 years. Too bad it ended for him this way.

    My god, he has the worst case of NPD I think is imaginable. Seriously, the guy needs professional help. What else could explain such complete insensitivity and lack of empathy towards people in that situation. Incredible.
