Holy crap, talk about a thread getting hijacked from the "I'm smarter than you are" crowd. The original analysis on Diamond was excellent, he has great deception and as long as he stays healthy there isn't much to indicate he won't continue to be successful.

"Careful Monsieur, with me. Do not tangle with me, I'm a trained expert in baseball, my hands are lethal weapons".

:confused:.I don't understand this, it's written in American.

Lol, Kimbo Slice, perfect, I totally forgot about that guy! Too bad if he's shaved it off, hope he hasn't lost his mojo.
  15. twinsnorth49
The same number as Glenn Mason.

I don't think it's being ignored, a lot of people just don't think it's the only problem the Twins should be focused on addressing.

Sorry, gave you the wrong impression, I agree with you. If it turned out the way the Santana deal could have then it would put this team in much better stead. Not that Hammer will fetch the offers Santana did but he would fetch something attractive enough to work with, at least at the present. If some good young prospects get dangled the Twins have to take it.
  18. twinsnorth49
Well, they sold high with Santana, unfortunately Smith got raped.

You do know what Bloomington-Normal is referred to as, don't you?
  20. twinsnorth49
If Luis has a good glare he could be one scary-ass mofo on the mound, damn! Kinda got a Marvin Gaye vibe going on too, should work with the ladies!

What is the point of keeping Gray? Bring someone up who has a future, Slama, Guerra, Oliveros. What does Gray do for this team at this point?
  22. twinsnorth49
    This x 2
  23. twinsnorth49
You're oversimplification of the job is kind of unmaking your point to replace Gardy. His handling of the pen hasn't been as bad as your making out and the umpires keep accepting his lineup cards so he seems to have that down. I'm ok with wanting to replace Gardy but to make it out like anyone could do the job better than him is starting to ring a little hollow.
  24. twinsnorth49
Statement firings never really make that much of statement, that's a cliche.

Why the hell would we want Francona to manage our rebuilding team? If you want a new voice, don't start recycling retread managers.
