    RB, I love you man but I can't agree that Pelfrey necessarily pitched "Well" today. As unlucky as it may have seemed in the 6th, you could almost feel it coming, he walked a bit of a tightrope all day and just threw too many pitches. You could argue he was lucky to be where he was come the 6th. He wasn't bad but he just wasn't good either. One other note however, we're all cognizant of the fact that the Twins scored 1 run today, correct? Not sure how most of the thread turned into a Pelfrey bashing session, considering that tidbit.

    I think most people here understand the difference between a tool and actual production but if none of those tools ever produced anything, what are we talking about? Definitions? Having said that, at 25 he's still worth hanging on to as opposed to adding a couple of players who should have no business near our 40 man as early as next year.

    If anyone truly believes Gibson not being up here right now isn't about service time, well I have some Twins-Astros tix in section 334, row 16 for a cool $100 a pair. On so many levels it's ludicrous he's not part of this rotation right now, shame on Ryan.

    There isn't one, other than they just brought him up and want to see what he can offer. I agree I'd much rather see Arcia and think that exposing him to this level is the way to go, no argueent here.

    Woooo hooooo!!!!!! Just finished watching the MLB.TV replay (man it takes a lot of commitment to not find out the score), this makes the rest of my Saturday night much more enjoyable. Six complete by a Twins starter and a Mauer homerun, I'm having non-acid induced flashbacks!

    Funny, I don't get that feeling at all, if TR got Trout for Butera, I'd worship at the alter of the great and powerful TR. Now I understand you're just making a strong point suggesting people are just looking for any reason to criticize the Twins FO at this point, but this decision supports doing just that, and it's a pretty good reason considering the two players who seeingly caused it.

    The injuries surely didn't help, wonder if there was more to the microfracture to his long term future. Still, hard to believe he just walks away for nada.

    I agree with this in general but Parmelee hasn't been playing everyday either and what would sending him back to Rochester accomplish? He's pretty much proved everything he can down there and needs to prove whether he can play at this level or the Twins cut bait, no? Unless you send Ramirez down and commit to playing both Parms and Arcia in RF and LF, occasionally Doumit (ughhh) and commit Hammer to DH, what else are you going to do? Dozier is a possibility but again, like Parms I think it's make or break time for him this year as well, although he didn't rip AAA pitching like Parmelee did so here could be a little more justification for sending him down to work things out, he's been pretty solid in the field though.

    That's some solid advice, I own so let me know how the repair goes. Right now I'm thinking of just relocating my dartboard, complete with picture of the 2013 starting rotation on the bullseye.

    Don't think this is a defense of Gardy but the real host of this gongshow is a Mr. T. Ryan. This organisation needs a good kick in the nads about now.
