  1. I'll say, 1. 10% 2. 35% 3. 5% 4. 10% 5. 40% We need a shiny new toy and they've already taken Arcia away from us once...killjoys.
  2. It would sure as hell beat whoever's advice got them this current rotation.
  3. Why? Pelfrey and Walters would do just fine down there.
  4. Well if he's going to find a home in the OF it's going to be a rented one, with Hicks already there, Arcia pushing to stay and Buxton and Kepler on the horizon. Methinks if Plouffe's going to relocate to the OF it will be as a 4th, alternating at DH wih Arcia perhaps. 3rd is his for the foreseeable future with only Sano as a likley successor, 1st is a possibilty if Parms doesn't getting it going and the team eventually runs out of patience. Add it all up and his future with the club into what should be their next competitive phase is very cloudy.
  5. Yeah, but is he using the whole field?
  6. You sir, are a saint.
  7. This is the essence of it for me. Bring him up here this year and see if he can be effective and see how his stuff translates to the big hitters, instead of hitching the wagon to him in the off-season, without really knowing and risk having him fall flat on his face early on and once again have very little in the way of a backup plan. If he really is better than two thirds of this rotation right now, then what the hell are we waiting for? Albers too, give him the stage, the warm-up band has been on long enough, nobody's really all that interested anyway.
  8. Hopefully neither one.
  9. Seriously, you can't make s**t like this up. I love this site.
  10. Getting pretty ridiculous hearing them defend this nonsense, if I'm Gibson I'm definitely thinking WTF?
  11. Perhaps, that is certainly possible however the last two seasons he was more actively dealing with the injuries and even then he flashed the power occasionally. I think he'll turn it around at some point.
  12. Considering Denard is on pace to statistically fall well below last year at the plate, maybe Gardy's way works better for him.
  13. The depth of this site is remarkable, the minor league info is such an amazing resource, I love checking in here daily, keep it up.
  14. How many of you guys had to Google Saskatchewan to spell it? C'mon, admit it.
  15. Is this the official make fun of Saskatchewan thread? Exciting! I hit a homerun in Saskatchewan once, watched it roll away for two weeks..................thanks, I'll be here all week.
  16. Gordie Howe............................no wait, that's not right.
  17. He's older and missed close to 2 years of baseball, will he hit 30 again? Probably not but I believe we'll see a bit more power as the year progresses.
  18. [video=youtube;G2y8Sx4B2Sk]
  19. So they need consistency from Gibson, but the rest of the staff can fit the very definition of inconsistent? No double standard there.
  20. Thanks for that image....just before bed......the Correia fastball part, not you as a giant meatball.....well, ok, both are pretty disturbing...
  21. Okay, that's not the ending I wanted, where's the rewind button?............fug!!
  22. Pinetop Perkins, Willie Dixon, Jimmy Rogers and some dude.
