  1. I think that pretty much sums up the bullpen most nights.
  2. Just as long as they're each not expected to get their pitch count up to 100.......
  3. In other words, "take the fork out "?
  4. http://s2.quickmeme.com/img/d0/d09471eca2c936b33619649b2c29745370e9ae374a9e7d6eb2c792ce03ae45a0.jpg
  5. Annnnnnd, there it is.......... http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/images/smilies/shakeshead.gif
  6. Not many, if any did. If I recall correctly, at the beginning of last year the general consensus was it would be great if he flashed that June 2013 power for a bit and played halfway competent 3rd base long enough to up his trade value to " hopefully something".
  7. It's early in the season, so clearly it's still Rick Anderson's fault.
  8. Sometimes when you play with fire you get away with it, but the longer you do it, the more likely you are to get burned.
  9. I'm enjoying it for the time being, I mean what's not to enjoy? I'm not expecting it to last however and if, or more accurately when the cracks begin to show, I hope the Twins don't wait too long for them to widen.
  10. Awesome! I never get tired of watching that HR but God that catch was a thing of pure athletic beauty.
  11. Or it could just be applied to being a joke, not everything is that complicated.
  12. Common sense and not being legally blind would tell you that you're wrong.
  13. Maybe one of the most encouraging things is that we have yet to see the best 25 the club can assemble, yet they still manage to be 6 games on the good side of the ledger.
  14. Another stellar game by Plouffe, at the dish and in the field tonight. Stock keeps rising.
  15. The team finally has some much needed depth, it's refreshing for them to be able to bring in effective pieces to the 25 man when someone is struggling, and for the 40 man to not be completely cluttered with driftwood. As long as they properly use what is available to them I think they can continue to move forward.

  17. Never change Dave, never change.
  18. Liriano and Marquis are the only two pitchers from the 2012 rotation still starting in the Majors, that's kinda depressing, no? I know hindsight is 20/20, and I also know Liriano was a tire fire the year he was traded, but it still baffles me that they traded pretty much the only legitimate pitcher they had that year, and definitely the only one who had legitimate major league stuff. Frankie would look pretty good in this rotation right about now. Oh well, they got a SS who plays LF and can hit a bit out of the deal, all was not lost.......
  19. May needs to work through his issues with the big club, just like Gibson did. He's shown stretches of being very good but as someone else mentioned needs to learn to be a little more economical and how to work through the 3rd time through the order. I don't get how working on that in AAA is going to be helpful, swap one guy dominating in AAA for another guy who is just going to do the same? Then what? Send Pelf to the pen, I've had enough of him in this rotation. Milone can take his spot until Santana is ready and they can go from there. Not sure I advocate trading him yet, he does provide the depth this team has lacked for years now.
  20. The Twins are 3 years too late on doing something worthwhile with Duensing. Left/Right is irrelevant, they just need someone who gets outs reliably, and that hasn't been Dunce. Sadly I agree they will try to ride it out before ultimately realizing they need to move on. Not sure what other option they have other than DFA him.
  21. Vargas got sent down because he wasn't working hard enough? He will go back and mash the ball, just like Arcia would, and in short order as well. There is very little at AAA that will aid either of these guys at the Major League level and that's the level they need to spend time in figuring it out.
  22. Mocking the afflicted.......heartless lol!
  23. Ohhhhh...........yeah!!!!!!
