    Whhyyy!!!....for the love of God, wwwhhhhyyyyy!!!! Just kidding, the only thing that concerns me is that it's his thumb. Hope it's not too bad because they can be a bugger to fully heal, Plouffe had a heck of a time coming back from his a couple of years ago and we all know how much Colabello struggled with his for so long. Resting it early hopefully does the trick Never thought I'd be so eager for Hicks to return.

    Let's face it, it's a diabolical plot, I mean obviously, I'm not sure what the plot is, but that wouldn't be a first. Let's go talk about Meyer, wherever that might be.

    I don't think this is any indication of giving up on Meyer as a starter. The big club needs help, he can provide it while also giving him the needed experience facing big league hitters. If anything this will be a good audition for him and hopefully prepares him to start next season. I'd have to think it's the plan in the short term. It's been pleasant to see the club make necessary moves this season, I haven't agreed with all of them but I can't accuse them of sitting on their hands. Bravo.
