  1. **** this!!! I swear to ****ing god what more do these **** heads need to see from this **** ass bullpen!! Get your head out of your ass TR!!!!!
  2. Amen brother, preaching to the choir......or singing, whichever you prefer.
  3. Apparently 0-2 counts don't agree with Mr. Fien. I think his version of expanding the zone needs, uh....expanding.
  4. I don't know whether TR is involved but it smells a little like he has influence in it. Molly isn't responsible for the reluctance to bring the young guys up from the farm though, that's TR.
  5. Seemingly obvious to everyone but TR and Molly.
  6. Ummm.........yes? That's the correct answer, right?
  7. All I've read is that Escobar is the best starting SS option currently on this team, how is that not true?
  8. So we want to solve our SS problems with one of the worst defensive SS in the past 5 years as far as DRS and UZR are concerned. . His speed isn't even close to making up for that. Why bother?
  9. So the Jays get the guy they should have had originally instead of Romero. Nice upgrade, helps them score even more runs and prevent a few as well, although Tulo is about league average this year in runs saved, still better than Reyes 2nd worst though. Latroy will help a bit I guess but that starting rotation and pen are still a disaster, unless that improves I still think the Jays end up missing out.
  10. Monumentally disappointing if they don't do something. Bare minimum is a RP, that absolutely has to be done, they can't spend the month of August watching games implode in the 7th inning, it will be too late.
  11. This is true, its easy to lose sight of after a bad loss. I mentioned earlier that the team was one Perkins out away in Oakland that would have put them at. 500 on the West Coast swing. That ain't shabby.
  12. Wait.......you mean there was a time we weren't worried about the starting pitching?!! When was this?
  13. So my ATM card could be magiccashmachinery411......I'm going to have to write that down somewhere before I forget.
  14. Very cool, someday teams are going to strictly adhere to the adage, "you can't fix stupid" in developing players.
  15. Funny more pitchers aren't muscle heads then eh? Pitching isn't an exercise of strength, it's one mainly of explosive speed, building muscle is counter to that. Santana wasn't taking steroids to build muscle and throw harder, he was doing it to recover more quickly and improve his stamina, like pretty much all of them.
  16. But sticking a fork in him is supposed to turnaround poor play. If he's playing well will it have the reverse effect? We should try this on the Yankees.
  17. Blue Jays kept pace beating the A's, 3 back of the Twins for the 2nd spot.
  18. Yeah, I don't think steroids can make you throw a fastball harder. It can make you throw one hard for longer maybe and like you say, speed up your injury recovery. I think his fastball is down a tick because his season just basically started. Not all that unusual early on.
  19. Whadd'ya mean? They're the wildcard leaders. For all my moaning about them this week they were one Perkins out from going 3-3 on the trip.
  20. I think that's a good description, he's a pro, really handles his business well and knows his approach.
