  1. I don't know what this means but I enjoyed it anyway.
  2. Chief combined with a Dinosaur Joke. The world just spun backwards on us all.
  3. 4th strikeout in of his last 6 PA's... He starting to try to hit the ball 600 feet again.
  4. If Molitor doesn't bench him tomorrow.. That would be the equivalent of Molitor not running out a grounder. And then Molitor should be benched.
  5. Yes Sir It was a childhood tale... It wasn't a bathtub... it was a swimming pool after a Sunday afternoon Bean Fest in the church basement. God wanted us to make bubbles.
  6. Polonco is starting at 2B tomorrow in my lineup... Just because of that Dozier half ass-ness that I just witnessed.
  7. I realized a long time ago that mistakes made usually end up being the good stuff in life down the road. Case in Point: Many years ago... Some young child dropped an entire box of crayons down the heating vent of someone else's house. In case you are wondering... those things really smoke and they even rattle and they are very hard to retrieve from the vent. At the time it was a tiny tragedy. Fast forward to many years down the road. It's one of the best Thanksgiving Stories that is retold every year. Mistakes are the good stuff in life. I'm never afraid to make them but It was rough being without Crayons for awhile.
  8. This National League Game stuff is my opinion why the Twins were insistent on finding a position for Sano to play. However... now the Twins have to find a place for Park to play when they visit the National League. This may become an endless loop or something.
  9. I like it... And... And... there is an orderliness to the order.
  10. The next Making of Murderer is supposed to be in San Antonio. So it makes sense. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/04/19/inside-the-next-making-a-murderer-satanic-panic-homophobia-and-the-san-antonio-four.html
  11. Dang it. Then there is absolutely no chance that Molitor uses my lineup. Dang it. Alright... Sano to 3B... Park to RF and Nunez to SS.
  12. World Series teams are not constructed during the off season. It's a process that continues as the season goes along. Baseball teams are always under construction and the Twins are already making repairs. Don't expect to drive around without detours and orange cones for awhile. For example... repairs to Sano in RF were already baked into the process. And the Twins should not have introduced those red jerseys. The new ones should have been yellow with reflective material. Here are some things to think about: 1. Lineupology -- There would be a temptation to place Sano at DH for a game after yesterday's adventures in RF. Actually there would be a temptation to remove all gloves from his locker and burn them beyond use. And a temptation to hire 24/7 security to follow him and prevent him from purchasing replacement gloves at Dick's Sporting Goods or making his own out of Banana Leaves. These temptations should be avoided... as a manager... now is the time that you say... Yesterday was Yesterday... Today is Today... We believe in you... Get back out to RF and give it all you got. Please don't run over Nunez... He's at 3B Today. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT THE REAL LINEUP UNLESS IT ACCIDENTALLY IS 3B Nunez 1B Mauer RF Sano DH Park 2B Dozier LF Rosario SS Escobar C Suzuki CF Buxton Bench: Arcia: He had his run but he has stuck out 3 times in his last 5 at bats. Besides... you can't bench Rosario forever... at least not yet. Kepler: I don't know why... it just seems like the thing to do after Terry Ryan and Paul Molitor both said that we are calling up Kepler but we don't expect him to play much. Polanco: Nunez still deserves to play and I'd stay with the DP combo of Dozier and Escobar for today at least. Murphy: It's his turn but I'd consider playing Kepler in RF and Sano at Catcher. 2. Milwaukee -- When I was in my 20's... I never dreamed that I would spend as much time as I have in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I had never seen Milwaukee until I was in my late 30's. That's when my nephew moved there; then my niece moved there; and then my sister moved there; and then another nephew moved there. For those of you keeping score... on my side of the family... 75% of my nephews and nieces live in the Milwaukee area along with 33% of my sisters. To put this in perspective. 100% of my entire family on both sides does not live in Boise, Idaho. 3. Milwaukee Part 2 -- I've spent enough time in Milwaukee that I actually kind of know my way around. Of course having a Garmin helps a little. I know this about Milwaukee... There isn't a city in America that has more road construction. Everyone is late for dinner because of this. And when you combine this with the massive drinking problems of the area... it means that the drinking is being done on an empty stomach. This was originally a Milwaukee specific problem but over the years it has evolved and spread to most of the state of Wisconsin, and as an eventual result of the road construction, we all get to watch Making a Murderer on Netflix. 4. The Parkster -- I have no idea if he will be Chris Carter or Bryce Harper or someone in between, but this Park Cat dude can hit the ball a long way. When he can reach the seats that he has been reaching, it makes them more fun to sit in and this could increase attendance... and increased attendance means the ownership makes more money and this increases the tax income for the state which will increase the road repair budget and increase the construction zones and lead to more people being late for dinner and drinking on an empty stomach and eventually Netflix will be airing a series from Winona. 5. Raise the Roof -- One of my Milwaukee nephews works in construction. I was with him in Grand Rapids, Michigan the weekend prior and we really hit the town. There is really nothing like trying to load furniture on a Sunday Morning after a night of hitting the town... especially at my age. Anyway... the nephews and I really hit the town on Saturday Night. We walked into Founders and I said... "All right... let's raise the Roof!" and he looked up and thought it was entirely possible. -------------------- Real lineups to come: TWINS Eduardo Nunez(R ) 3B Brian Dozier(R ) 2B Joe Mauer(L) 1B Miguel Sano(R ) RF Oswaldo Arcia(L) LF Eduardo Escobar(S) SS Eddie Rosario(L) CF Kurt Suzuki(R ) C Tommy Milone(L) P BREWERS Domingo Santana(R ) RF Jonathan Villar(S) SS Ryan Braun® LF Jonathan Lucroy(R ) C Chris Carter(R ) 1B Aaron Hill(R ) 3B Yadiel Rivera(R ) 2B Ramon Flores(L) CF Jimmy Nelson(R ) P Game-time forecast: 55 deg F, probably rainy, winds at 6mph from the ESE. 14. Boyer was toast Counsell would have improved his chances by bringing in someone with no arms at all.
  15. There was nothing Boyer could do against Sano. He threw 5 Curves in a row and then threw an inside fastball and Sano was early on the fastball. Boyer really had nothing to offer there. That was not major league quality on the mound.
  16. From Town to Town He's gotta a real cool head He's makin' real good bread.
  17. Most Women would Pre-Date Chief and then come up with excuses before the real date.
  18. He looks like a completely new hitter. He isn't trying to kill everything... Just going with the pitch and doing fairly well at it. If he keeps it up. He'll be starting consistently.
  19. Yeah I know I remember being told about a restaurant who had the best baby back ribs in the world and wondering where they got the babies. After I had the Ribs and they were delicious. I admit I felt guilty when I went back to have them again.

  21. I had time to ponder stuff at the Banquet. They served those little Potatoes. Does a Farmer who grows the little ones have to clarify themselves as a little potato farmer.
