    I call this an 80 for 60 line up. Thats when: 80% of this line up would bat ninth for 60% of the other team in MLB. *EDIT: 80-for-60-for-40 40% belong in AAA. **EDIT#2 First two innings prove my point.

    Sources say almost as much as naming right for venues. That seems high. My guess is probably about 50% of venue rights. And of course. Teams like the Yankees/Mets/Dodgers are raking in 20-25 million per year for stadium rights, Twins are only making 5-6 million.

    It border line delusional to think the Twins make the playoffs. If the bats come alive, another starting pitcher will go down. If the starters hold up, the bullpen will implode. If the pen holds up, the bats will go cold.

    Paddack gave us… well, technically, he gave us innings. It wasn’t always the kind we hoped for, but they were… innings. His era in his last 7 games is 8.55 But to support your point, he is giving us more innings.

    "Hoping" was a key word you didn't include in your quotation copy. DXP is "hoping" the next big deal is, that in contrast to the current ownership, the new owners will want to win. My hope is the new owners know how to win.

    Minnesota isn’t failing to follow the Cleveland/Tampa model because they won’t, it’s because they can’t. Those teams trade from strength and develop surplus. The Twins don’t have the same luxury. .

    A younger version of Clemens, Miranda, Julien and Sabato we need not. Just pick him up when he's DFA'd in a few years.

    He actually has played 1st. Screenshot shows his minors/college fielding states. Between college and the minors, he logged 22 games there and started 13. In 2024 at Wichita, he started 13 games at 1B and didn’t commit an error. Mauer was moved there due to concussions. Morneau ended up at 1B because he didn’t cut it behind the plate. So it's common position for a player to settle to for one reason or another. In the Twins case, they need him there.

    Crazy how much debate a utility guy creates. Clemens is not the long-term answer. The Twins will move toward putting Keaschall at first ASAP.
