  1. Nice catch in the corner by Fabio, and without injury. Thought he might be as banged up on that collision as he was that time he caught a bird in the grill on a roller coaster. http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/news/stories/img/buschgardens-fabio-roller-coaster-1999apr.jpg
  2. Yeah. For most players, at some point higher strength gives rapidly diminishing returns on bat speed. Sano is not most players.
  3. Not sure we can get it right with one guess tonight.
  4. Shame about the missed extra point, but when you give your starter a month's worth of run support in one game and set the franchise record for hits in a game, it takes some of the sting out of it. Suck it, Pythagorean projection!
  5. This game was probably Gibson's last, best chance for a CG as a Twin. And there still would have been someone up in the pen every inning
  6. Random internet accusation of Rosario and PED's in three... two...
  7. You three are wacky like a romantic comedy.
  8. Might want to wait until one of their position players makes his fifth relief appearance of the season.

  10. That would explain at least part of what ales them. http://www.relatably.com/q/img/keystone-light-keith-stone-quotes/090410-smooth-entry-for-stone-2-body.jpg Or why their pitching situation is at lagerheads.
  11. And sang into the wrong can. http://images.static-bluray.com/reviews/4844_5.jpg
  12. "Let's Gibbyboogaloo until we puke..."
  13. It's a major university in Canada. http://www.myteespot.com/images/Images_d/img_iW2Fla.jpg
  14. The interesting thing about Gibson is that except for his poor walk rate, his metrics at least superficially say that he's not pitching much worse than when he was effective. He's allowing a much higher batting average on balls in play and his strand rate is worse, but both should theoretically normalize somewhat, and other numbers like his K rate are right on. And then you watch him pitch, and you can see how much more often hitters tee up and tattoo the ball. His home run rate alone is nearly double what it was at his best. At this point he's a cross between the worst version of Kevin Slowey and Charlie Brown when he gets his clothes knocked off by a line drive.
  15. Yes, and in other news, I'm going to be driving a courtesy Pinto http://www.soccerblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Ford-Pinto1.jpg until they finish some bodywork on my Corvair. http://i.imgur.com/KykElmJ.jpg
  16. I think he could rack up that fireworks display in six.
  17. http://imoviequotes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/404-Uncle-Buck-quotes.gif I like Johnny Depp in most of his movies. Ok, all of them. Except one.
  18. Gibson is still just one start away from causing some fans to be subjected to the seldom-invoked 26 beer rule.
  19. There are probably posters who are either impressed or appalled (or possibly both simultaneously) by the revelation that you still listen to what your wife is saying.
  20. That's what happens to your jaw when you eat too many of this delightful State Fair delicacy...
  21. Well, the Mudville Nine did knot it up in the bottom of the first, so it's not like they went down without a fight.
