  1. I'm not able to watch the game, but I can just close my eyes a picture Mauer's HR barely clearing the fence in left-center.
  2. Press 1 if you think that's how many more save opportunities Jepsen will get.
  3. Pizza Hut delivery is really great! https://youtu.be/nQFDA0FPm54
  4. Here's how it should go down... 1) Trade Plouffe 2) If #1 happens, then start Sano there every day 3) If #2 fails terribly, then stopgap the position with Nunez 4) If #3 fails terribly, then we've seen that the offseason supply of major league 3b exceed the demand.
  5. He's truly the Suzuki Ichiro of his generation
  6. Good call Molly.... save Jepsen for when we have a lead. The handshake line.
  7. They are only going to hand them out to people sitting from the visitors dugout to the left field foul pole
  8. We can trade Nunez to the Royals 2 days before a failed drug test. Payback!!!!
  9. Our youngsters are seriously struggling with this guy's slider
  10. Exactly. Given that SLG% is just total bases divided by AB, if we add in his SB and subtract off his CS, his SLG% becomes 457 Now his "effective" OPS is 795. I'm sure stats like WAR and RC don't think about it that simply, but I'm willing to I'm not going to claim to have any clue how his defense is, but given the fact that he plays CF and steals bases at almost a 90% clip, I'm going to guess it's at least average. Probably better than that.
  11. 25SB at almost a 90% clip.... Also, BB and K are almost the same. Harrison doesn't have one thing in his stats that stands out. Granite has several and most of the rest of his stats are pretty similar.
  12. NOOOOOOOO!!!!! Stay sitting! I like this Nunez.
  13. Chargois. Have you seen that K rate?!?!?
  14. Vargas
  15. This Chad Kuhl guy doesn't look too shabby. Had an ERA under 1.00, over 8 starts, coming into this game. (age: 23) Buxton mixed in a triple for good measure later in the game, by the way (not off of Kuhl)
  16. Tue, Jun 7 vs Miami 8:10 PM Dean (0-1) Conley (3-3) Wed, Jun 8 vs Miami 8:10 PM Hughes (1-7) Chen (3-2) Thu, Jun 9 vs Miami 8:10 PM Nolasco (1-3) Koehler (2-5) It doesn't get more perfect than that.
  17. Buxton's standard "struggle for a month or so at a level, then destroy the ball" I've heard good arguments on both sides of when to bring him up (from "now" to "2017")... I'm in the "in a few weeks camp" as long as it is understood that he's playing EVERY FREAKING DAY. He's proven he needs to struggle a little at each level. Let him struggle. Every level he's come out of that struggle killing the ball.
  18. This was probably mentioned.... I'm happy we won, but I'm double happy that we trailed in the game 45 for 46!!!
