I would have not taken out a guy who had only given up 1 hit, but the pinch hitter got a hit for the Nats. I guess Rocco would have yanked Scherzer in the 5th....Each of these post season teams have 1 and 2 Star pitchers, and that is what the Twins were missing....waiting for the Astros game. Hope they beat that other team. Go Nationals!
  2. Bomba2026
I'm not so sure some of our Pitchers want to be here...I would definitely try and keep Odorizi.
  3. Bomba2026
Im watching the Tampa Bay Rays hit Vrelander hard! They were not as "good" as the Twins....they have good pitching. I dont know how this will end but this is a great series to watch. They had no fear because there were no expectations I guess....
  4. Bomba2026
The Twins won the majority of their games from losing teams...I guess they need more confidence. They have all the hitting talent in the world. Put a shrink on staff! Deer in headlights series.

I was a kid watching the 65 Series with Sandy Koufax and Drysdale....They were unbelievable and respectable. The Twins were new. This loss in 2019 hurt because this team was a true Team. I think these guys get along, have lots of talent and have made this season the most exciting since the Puckett Hrbek days...I thought this team had more talent, but the pitching was hit hard by Pineda. That was the straw. Next year....

I remember when the Twins dumped Dozier, among others.....I was so mad I refused to watch games. You gotta consider the fan appeal too.....
  7. Bomba2026
I remember being at Dodger Stadium in the 90's when the 5th inning was the Macarena, there was a wild fire burning on the hill on the 4th of July and I was freaking out and my row mates were calm as ever...bought me a beer! Piazza Karros and Mondesi and Tommy Lasorda brought the humor and hits. Great stadium to visit as was old Busch Stadium in the McGwire/Sosa days....I love Baseball!

Hahaha Randy is a class act! I think he has a bright future with the Twins and Im sure he wont be making $15 an hour pitching next year! ⚾. Hey Randy, will you drive us to opening day next year at Target Field? You get a 10!
  9. Bomba2026
At least Eddie showed up last night with his bat.....I like Eddie and I think he will improve just like everyone should. Eddie needs to go back to left field, Bucky in Center and Kepler in Right. Hell maybe Eddie hates MN...I hope not. He is an exciting player and fans love him.

Wonder in another world if Rocco was manager of the 91 Twins?? omg, he would have taken Jack Morris out in the 5th inning!
  11. Bomba2026
Squirrel kisses to all of you!!
  12. Bomba2026
Yeah Rocco wasn't frustrated but every fan in this State and the ones who paid to see that in person are.....
  13. Bomba2026
Thank you to all the great people who spent time here this season! At times you all were more exciting than the Twinks with the endless comments. I hope you will all be back next year because if I have to suffer, you do too! (Just kidding, that's just the playoffs). Stay funny, feed the Squirrel, and lets toast to well, the Astros? Seeyabye
  14. Bomba2026
The Squirrel missing the roof was the greatest footage ever. It summed up our season.
  15. Bomba2026
I want Johann Santana as our Pitching Coach. And whenever Nelly retires I want him back as our 1st base coach. If Big Mike shows up as Slim Mike, waving a Bible and and an AA Coin let's resign him. Perez is still young, let's see him, Smeltzer, Dobnak, Berrios and Odorizzi in Spring Training. I dont want to waste 162 days of my life next year......
  16. Bomba2026
Rocco was proud of this effort in the playoffs...really? Hey the season is over, now the playoffs, a new season. I'm not proud of losing again. It would have been more exciting to see the Squirrel run around the field! I had the game taped and at 12:01 when I was off some DB at work blarred the score over the loudspeaker. Thanks And if we finish as Wild Card next year, I bet we somehow play the Yankees again. Go Astros.
  17. Bomba2026
Just watched a great Tampa Astros game... Jim Kaat was one of the announcers too. They have a good pitching staff. So the Twins win tonite and I would stick Perez out there tomorrow and Berrios back in NY. Eddie and Sano need to show up and play like they are capable. I think we might have a squirrel sighting tonight.....I have to tape the game do to work. GO Twins.
  18. Bomba2026
I just watched Tampa beat Houston so......Tampa has a good pitching staff and a horrible fan base. I'm happy their fans actually showed up today. I think the Twins will win tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully Sano and Eddie will be mentally present for the game....
  19. Bomba2026
All this good team needs is an Exorcism. Is their a priest in the house?
  20. Bomba2026
I was listening to Baseball tonite after work and the Yankees can be so proud of their fans chanting Uber at Randy Dobnak. Kinda like someone still calling you Fat A$$ after you lost 100 lbs. This is why I want another team to get a chance to win. I hope everyone of those jerks lose their jobs.....
  21. Bomba2026
Smeltzer was the best today...and Schoop finally gets to play when the game is in the toliet! I feel like I just wasted 6 months of my life watching every game...
  22. Bomba2026
Can we blame Big Mike? Yes let's do so...he is probably sitting in a lawn chair on some beach eating candy bars...
  23. Bomba2026
I hate losing so much if I was a player I'd sail a 350 foot fastball into the stands screaming STFU!
  24. Bomba2026
Maybe Tanaka will fall asleep sitting on the bench for an hour....
  25. Bomba2026
How embarrassing....and Duffer is still out there...how was Dobnak worse than him? Rocco is too quick to go to the bullpen. We will never get out of the 1st round cuz we play the Yankees....we could win 150 games and we would still play them.
