    Re Baldelli's unfazed demeanor. It is cloying. A manager who can get upset, or enraged,or exultant, ie a human being - is much preferable.

    Colome' is a worthless BUM! Whoever said he has the Romo vibe was right, except Romo, as bad as he was, wasn't this bad. Make Alcala the closer or this will happen time and time again.

    Losing another 10th inning horror?! Colonel and Rogers just disappointing. Agree about Sano, what's it gonna take to get him to focus?

    Laughers against sub-par teams provide an illusory perspective, but, they're nice. The Turtle up to .500 with that pinch-hit. Looking for him to go deep.

    The Turtle is a figure out of Grimm. Out of THE WILD BUNCH. He is the one player on this team that's consistently paradoxical and amusing. He is a secret weapon, non-Darwinian, he has mythic Yogi Berra-like qualities, the *dummling who everyone laughs at for being a primitive, but has an aura of luck about him that's endearingingly absurd.

    A manager who can't get his team psyched up for the playoffs just adds to the misery of 18 straight playoff series. Pitiful baseball as usual. Very embarassing to be a fan of this team as I've been since Oliva's rookie year.

    Have to agree with all the negative points. Romo just can't get it done now. Be nice to see Polanco get a hit one of these days.

    A terrible showing. To compensate for their futility with the bases loaded,Baldelli should've had Gonzalez squeeze home a run to tie it up. Rosario and Arreaz at least competed but what a pathetic team effort.
