http://www.startribune.com/nelson-cruz-sergio-romo-pick-up-slack-wehere-newcomer-sam-dyson-fails/515144702/ Reusse's column says there's a strong likelihood Buxton is heading back to the IL after his latest crash into the center field wall... Just in time to miss most of, if not all of the Cleveland series next week... Nothing official yet, but doubt Reusse would have tweeted it or ran with it in his column if he didn't have a good sense this was happening.

FWIW Reusse tweeted around midnight to expect Buxton to be placed on the IL....

Glad someone in the bullpen other than Rogers has the stones to step up and take the bull by the horns. Way to go Sergio!

Romo is a gamer, love this guy!
  7. HawksNest
3 righties due up for Romo, let's go!

Why does it feel like we're losing?
  9. HawksNest
This pitching staff is so screwed if we make the playoffs. Woof.
  10. HawksNest
    That cutter was gross. Progress!
  11. HawksNest
    This can't be happening
  12. HawksNest
Five run leads shouldn't result in nail biting!
  13. HawksNest
Sinker ballers that don't throw sinkers down in the zone....gonna get rocked
  14. HawksNest
    Don't tempt Rocco!
  15. HawksNest
    Here comes Dyson!
  16. HawksNest
Keep going, keep going, keep going. Gonna need 4+ runs to feel comfortable (sad but true)
  17. HawksNest
Rosario hitting the ball TOO hard haha
  18. HawksNest
It'd be nice to get the lead up to 4 runs or more here....
  19. HawksNest
If we take the lead here, do you start to get Dyson loose?
  20. HawksNest
    Totally agree, we'll never know.

Cleveland game is final. Tribe win 7-3.

Zero percent chance that trade request was a) true or a serious request from Toronto Morosi tweeted on July 26th that Twins were not comfortable parting with Larnach and Graterol for a Giles and Stroman package.

Yeah I saw that report too. The point being that if that's the guy you identify to upgrade the rotation, I don't want to hear whining from the FO through the local media that they "never got a call back" from the Blue Jays. Falvine have a telephone, keep calling, call them back, etc. etc. it's not that complicated. They can call, text, whatever. "never got a call back" just sounds like a lame excuse to me especially considering we had PLENTY of prospect ammunition to give up to get Stroman. Could be wrong (I probably am, lol) but just feels like they botched the Stroman deal, a huge miss. Just my two cents.
  24. HawksNest
Cruz gets clowned haha Way to go Eddie!
  25. HawksNest
Bomba from Cruz here would be amazing
