  1. I would like to see Cron on the bench more in post season. Garver or Kepler takes over at 1B. I like the idea of Astudillo replacing Schoop. I think Adrianza is a lock just like Gonzalez. Cave can be the 4th or 5th outfielder. That would make this roster as flexible and productive as possible. vs RH pitcher 1.Arraez (2B) 2.Polanco (SS) 3.Cruz (DH) 4.Kepler(RF) 5.Sano (3B) 6.Rosario (LF) 7.Garver(1B) 8.Castro© 9.Buxton(CF) vs LH pitcher 1.Kepler (RF) 2.Polanco (SS) 3.Cruz (DH) 4.Arraez (2B) 5.Sano (3B) 6.Garver © 7.Rosario (LF) 8.Cron (1B) 9.Buxton (CF) Bench: Gonzalez, Cron/Castro, Adrianza, Cave, Astudillo
  2. If Buxton can be healthy enough to produce offensively, Ian Miller will not be on post season roster. I would say Adrianza is a lock. Astudillo has a chance.
  3. Agreed. Arraez should bat leadoff. Kepler should bat cleanup. Sano or Garver should bat 5th. Rosario should bat 6th.
  4. That's being cheap and showing no respect. If Twins want to win the division next season, signing Odorizzi and Pineda would only be a start.
  5. Odorizzi is an all-star this year. He is not going to take less than 2/30. If Twins can get both Pineda and Odorizzi at 2/30. I think it's a win for the team. Please leave Perez out of discussion. We've seen enough.
  6. Please no more Perez. I believe we've seen enough. It would be a waste of money and roster spot.
  7. Let Perez and Gibson walk. Try to sign Odorizzi and Pineda. Get Cole in the offseason.
  8. Sano hit 4 out of top 10. He is supposed to be the most dangerous hitter in Twins lineup.
  9. Please either move Perez to the bullpen or release him now. LET PEREZ AND GIBSON WALK NEXT SEASON. Save the money to sign Odorizzi and Pineda.
  10. Perhaps Gardenhire and his staff are behind all these. They are certainly very familiar with some of our pitchers and most of our hitters. Good approach against our pitchers and our hitters. 17 strikeouts today against our hitters right?
  11. Earlier in the season Baldelli did the opposite. He pulled starters too early and overused bullpen. Now he pulled starters too late and the games were pretty much over when the relievers came in. He doesn't seem to get it right sometimes.
  12. It makes perfect sense, Arraez is a better hitter with runners in scoring position and he is a LH hitter (against a RH pitcher). It just didn't work out. Arraez the rookie should be more careful with those borderline calls. Btw, do you actually believe Schoop is going to get a hit or a walk in that situation? He hasn't done that all season.
  13. Twins might want to sign Romo, Odorizzi and Pineda next season.
  14. Perez is not one of our best pitchers. Odorizzi has been doing fine though.
  15. Don't forget Ober and Jax. They are pretty good as well. Graterol, Balazovic, Colina, Ober, Jax, Duran, Alcala, Enlow, Sands...Btw, Sam Clay has been good too.
  16. Sano has basicly adopted Mauer's approach at the plate these days.
  17. I am not sure why Duran was promoted. He certainly does not deserve it. Just look at his stats. Both Duran and Alcala have struggled this year. I think they are overrated. Well it was Alcala who was promoted. He is slightly better than Duran with an ERA under 6.
  18. Kepler needs to raise his average quite a bit to be #3 hitter though, he is a legit #4 hitter behind Cruz though. Sano #5 Rosario #6
  19. Same here. I really liked Minor. He is a gamer. He is exactly the pitcher Twins need in the post season.
  20. If Ober can stay healthy and effective, he could be Twins #4 pitching prospect soon. Jax could be #5. Forget about Duran and Alcala. I think they are overrated. #1 Graterol #2 Balazovic #3 Thorpe
  21. Freddy Galvis was claimed by Reds off waivers from Blue Jays. He is a better and cheaper player than Schoop and yet he was let go.
  22. Polanco (SS) Arraez (2B) Cruz (DH) Kepler (RF) Sano (3B) Rosario (LF) Cron (1B) Castro © Buxton (CF) or Garver © Polanco (2B) Cruz (DH) Kepler (RF) Sano (3B) Rosario (LF) Cron (1B) Arraez (2B) Buxton (CF)
