  1. Trading someone who never delivers in crucial situations is a smart smart smart move for a contending team that wants to win as many games as possible in playoff. Gonzalez, Adrianza, Arraez and Polanco all can play 2B adequately. Gordon is very close to major league ready.
  2. I agree. I like Davis and Jax a lot. I think Jax really knows how to pitch. I would like to add him to that list along with Davis.
  3. Addition by subtraction. Infield is too crowded at the moment.
  4. When there is a hitting party, Schoop will probably join. When there is a big hit needed or the game is on the line, it's almost a guarantee that he's not going to deliver. That's why Brewers let him go. Schoop is exactly the kind of players a contending team does not want because he is not going to help the team win in big games. I would not want to see Schoop in Twins uniform even if he only makes league minimum.
  5. It seems every game Schoop would leave 5 men on base. He's already at the bottom of the order. He can't go any lower in the lineup. He needs to go.
  6. Smeltzer over Mejia, Stewart over Morin, Littel over Parker. All three can pitch multiple innings. I think Twins need as many pitchers who can pitch multiple innings as possible.
  7. Smeltzer certainly earned his stay in the major league. Mejia seems to belong in the minor league instead.
  8. Taylor Rogers! He single-handedly carried Twins bullpen in the first half.
  9. He swings at anything. None of the pitches at bat were strikes. I guess pitchers don't have to throw a strike when facing Schoop. He will get himself out. Sano has been selective at the plate lately. That's why he is having some success right now.
  10. I didn't. I like clutch hitters even if they only hit league average. EE has always been clutch. I even liked him better than Polanco in the past. EE's production this season: 66 RBI, .291 AVG, .885 OPS, 18 HR. EE should be elected to the All-Star game this year.
  11. Well after today's outing, Morin's ERA is over 3 now.
  12. 6 hit 1 BB in 3 innings only 1 run because of the error to show for it. Thanks to Schoop.
  13. Again Schoop did absolutely nothing when RISP.
  14. Polanco at least battled. That was ball 4 outside. He should not swing at it.
  15. I guess Dick was so excited to see Schoop finally hit one out of IF with the bases loaded.
  16. We all know Schoop never comes up with anything whenever it matters.
  17. Man I see all the good things about Arraez and all the bad things about Schoop in the game. Sure Arraez has a lot less power, but he gets on base all the time. That's what really matters. I want Arraez to be Twins starting 2nd baseman next season.
  18. Schoop's error might cost Twins a win today.
  19. Heh, Schoop's error. When the game is on the line, he either strikes out or GIDP or makes an error. He never does anything good when it matters.
  20. Another walk-off win by the Dodgers. Wow. I am not sure any team can stop the Dodgers this year.
