You even put down Mikelink45. Just because he had a different opinion. I believe we should encourage opinions, comments, and new members.

Above all, learn to allow other opinions. Don't be so sensitive about your shortcomings please. Also don't put words in your commenter mouths. Actually read th initial comment. No need to be passive aggressive. I am also entitled to my opinion. No need to try and belittle someone just because they maybe smarter than you.

Have you watched a game recently.

Please don't misquote me or puts words in my mouth. Who said aim?....oh you did. Cmon Parker I'd hope you are better than this and watch a game or two. Or as you say in the article "swing as hard as you can.works for Sano"

Parker, it's your article. Don't be so sensitive. My proposal is to not swing for the fences and move runners over or bring them in. Of course swing with intention, but put ball in play. If the goal as you stated is to only try to hit the ball as hard as possible. Well that will lead to many slumps and ugly at bats. Since ytou are soo smart in some many ways..lol....what is your proposal?

I wonder if batting practice and infield practice will become mandatory as opposed to voluntary as it is now. Very frustrated at the moment. I've watched every inning of every game. Rock has to stop overthinking subs, ie..blankenhorn for Josh, and many others. Maybe is Rocco informed practice and teamwork? Put down the data and actually watch the game. Alot of bad to see, with easy fixes.

Also Parker, you do see the Twins have hit the ball hard, as you stated. However that has not turned into a higher batting average. Your exact article shows this.

You do understand hitting the ball to places without fielders correlates more to batting average...right? Cmon Parker

I agree. Maybe if we can beat the shift once in awhile. I've watched every game. Seems like other teams are able to!? I know I will get pounded for this, but give me a lineup that is top of the league in batting average over a team high in batted balls over 95 mph. Though a good mix would do.

Would it not be more productive for him to be put in low level situations? Why keep giving him opportunities to lose games?
  12. Twinsrtheworst
Sign him, lock him up for 5 years. He's had some bad luck. I'm predicting top 3 in mvp votes this year. He won't break the bank if we sign him now. Money well spent

5 for 50 million would be great. I just don't see heem even considering that kind of offer sgt.

I believe he is the next Gwynn, Carew. I just think so many folks are down on batting average to were if a player hits .320 consistently, they don't understand that metric. Therefore many don't see the advantage of a higher average because it does not involve any advanced metrics.

I'd have to say you are wrong at least twice woolywool. Watching games and once fans sit in there seats, nobody is wearing a mask. You can have mine.
  16. Twinsrtheworst
The tickets are sold in pods. The only people that are close to you for 3+ hours are the same people you drove to the game with.
  17. Twinsrtheworst
Why are you concerned with how many are wearing masks? Are you going?

Great article. I am headed there Saturday. Had to pay triple the price from a second party seller. But I'm excited

Big difference of opinions on status of our bullpen. Goes to show relievers are volatile. I am on the side of signing clippard. I've never seen a team have to many solid options...inspite of some people's opinions.

Can't really see us starrting the year with 5 outfielders...actually 6 counting Arraez, since they will be getting his bat into the lineup as much as possible, including playing left field.
  22. Twinsrtheworst
Kepler is an above average RF. But Please do not bat him leadoff. I don't get the fascination of batting him first in the order. Does anyone feel differently, please convince me. I know the win probably increases when a team scores first. But what would be the win probability if we scored 2 or 3 runs first, as opposed to a single shot hr.

Is any fellow Twins fan planning on attending spring training? I'm very curious on what to expect it to look like as opposedto past years. Any insight would be helpful. Thankyou

I wish we had been able to acquire Musgrove.
