  1. Who knows what will happen, but if Meyer pitches like a beast out of the bullpen, he definitely won't go back to starting this year - I really hope that happens and his addition makes our bullpen somewhat formidable because as of now, they are not. Maybe the Twins can stay in this thing into September... much more weird stuff has happened in this game than that outcome. If they indeed do that and Mr. Berrios continues to have a banner season in the upper minors, he might be a great addition to add into the back end of the bullpen in September. If you have a starting staff that can hold their own and 3 effective power pitchers to go 7-9 and can squeak into the playoffs - anything is possible. This of course is a everything breaking right scenario. I do not expect this to happen - but what the hell, I had to roll the dice!
  2. This should do the trick...
  3. Always - Chi is right, she liked the Rally Roger. I was the murderer of the Rally Roger - it was growing stale. As for the Olsen Twins, It was only myself and Brian who enjoyed their company. I believe everyone else found them to be disgusting and off putting. One man's treasure can be another man's trash. Case Closed Bark
  4. Don't grieve for the Rally Roger. His time has come and passed. Look forward to new beginnings!
  5. With the Death of my beloved Olsen Twins. I believe the time to be correct to burn down the Rally Roger. You have served me well my friend, but you ran out of gas, and unfortunately I had to use some of that to burn you down. My Final Salute... rest well my friend.
  6. Boooooo!!! (In honor of an old friend on this site)
  7. Thanks Riverabby. I am tremendously appreciative of your quick response. I think of the nights where I may weep without my Olson Twins. But, you know after thinking things through, I may be over reacting. I have to put into perspective the great things that I have at my disposal. I have to remember that I still have the Kardashian Sisters and the Hiltion Sisters. For a moment I was lost, but now have been found. Giving you my most profound appreciation. Stealers Wheel in Barkville
  8. You should take into account that I made a splendid Olson Twins Blackhawks picture for you. I bet no one has done that for you before. I am a magic man.
  9. Man, that's a tough one. It's like you'd be stripping a Samurai of his sword. I need RiverBrian's advice.
  10. Well, don't do that. We need to win this game!
  11. Oh crap, wrong one. Let's try this again. It's quadruple the fun!
  12. Enough is enough. The Twins should be able to score 4 or more runs today. Pelfrey was a warrior today He gave it his best. Once in a while a pitcher should be able to give up 3 runs in 6-2/3 innings and still get a win. The Flag is F'n raised and we're gonna win the SOB!!! WE.WILL.WIN.
  13. Thanks D. Hocking. That means my work is paying off.
  14. I would be thrilled to see Ventura get Tossed out of the game today!
  15. I've thought about the reboot of Indiana Jones for much more time than I ever should have. I don't like it. I cannot envision anyone other than Harrison Ford in that role. Obviously that is unrealistic, and the reboot will probably happen, I just hope the guy who they make the movies about is the son of Indiana Jones (Mutt Williams... sigh). But, I do bet it could be good if the role is filled by Michael Fassbender or Bradley Cooper and hopefully he changes his nickname. If the movie is made in the near future, hopefully Harrison Ford plays a big part of the first movie. Preferably I want Disney to leave that movie franchise alone. To me Harrison Ford is the only guy who can play Indiana Jones in a motion picture.
  16. Wait to the Aliens arrive from the plogzungazzo solar system. That's when the real argument will begin. Baseball will be turned on its head. I know a few scouts from that neck of the woods.
  17. Star Date 2002: Johan Santana Pitched out of the bullpen at the age of 23. Star Date 2015: J.O. Berrios Pitched out of the bullpen at age 21. Why not? it worked out for Santana. P.S. Alex Meyer is going to end up being a reliever. Let's ride that horse!
  18. Damn! Rizzo Italian Stallioned that one.
  19. This kid has the moxie. Words cannot express how impressed I have been with his play. Sure he will have his struggles, but this guy is an MLB ballplayer. I think this guy can have a Shane Mack career with more longevity. And the Mack/Longevity argument is a story for another day.
  20. Earlier in this thread there was some mention of Barry Bonds. I do not like what he did and he is paying the price for it, but damn - as a 40 year old man, who has been watching the game for 30 years, he was an uber amazing all-around player for the first 3/4's of his career and the last 1/4, at bat, I have never come close to seeing anything like it... Wow! My vote goes to the Bambino, his legend is so huge, that sometimes I don't believe it happened and it is all a conspiracy theory.
