    To start off he is already 21 years old. His advanced age makes me believe he is probably a AAAA player. He should have been up with Twins 3 years ago. To be honest, I think the Twins just threw the guy a bone and decided to give him 1 taste of majors. After this period of time ends, we will never see him in the bigs again. Speed and Defense: The 2 most overrated skills in todays game of baseball. He should be riding the pine as a 4th outfielder and Escobar should be playing in CF. 2 years from now, I have a hard time seeing Buxton making the roster of a beer league softball team in his home town. But we all knew this anyways. Sorry to state the obvious.

    I have guests over tonight, but found a small window to sneak away. It looks like Plouffe brought his hard hat and lunch bucket to work today. Great to see. Plouffe is coming back atcha like a MoFo heart attack!

    No offense to Schafer, but he is a puzzle piece in a different box than the box the Twins are dealing with. It's a no a fit, probably never was. He probably played his best baseball with the Twins in the last 2 months of last season, but it was an anomaly. Maybe Schafer can sign on with a Korean club and hit 15 HR's and hit .260. Make the best out of it.

    I loathe racists and I loathe religious extremists. It's a damn shame what has happened, but it will happen from time to time. Some things slip through the cracks. Judging from this kids hairdo, it is obvious he is a nut ball. I read his dad bought him a gun for his 21st birthday - I don't know the specifics, but that cannot be good. My guess is that his dad has racist tendencies (A Race War is Comin' Yuk, Yuk). It might seem like we have an overload of bad things happening here and in the world the last year or so and I believe that to be true. But bad things have been happening every year since modern man took the stage. I want to say I am very remorseful for the victims and their families. I hope they did not die in vain and their legacies live on. As for Mr. Bowl Cut, he should hope he is not put in the general prison population when he is sentenced as he will experience some very, very uncomfortable positions. If that's the case, a tear will not drop my eye.

    The Cards are my NL team, but the Twins are always #1. If I did indeed say that, It was out of frustration. I can't recall.

He packs a lot of strength in his 5-foot-8, 235-pound frame and can put on a show in bicep flexing that would do a body builder proud. Nevertheless, there's a split camp on how well his power will play in semi-pro arm wrestling. Scouts who like him think his "Over the Top" raw pop could translate into 30 tournament wins annually in the dive bar circuit. Others think he has a grooved tricep and lacks arm speed and believe he'll have trouble making slam downs against better competition. Lincoln's power will have to carry him because he doesn't have another average tool. He's a well below-average drinker with fringy alcohol tolerance. Though he has played both sides of the table in VFW's and American Legions in San Bernardino, CA, the career truck driver will be limited to the right side of table at the next level."
