  1. I was talking about myself watching the games again, but I do share your optimism on what you are saying.
  2. I actually watched the most parts of 2 games this series. Could this be some kind of resurrection?
  3. Too charged to comment. Where is Chuck D. when you need him?
  4. The guy you thought was Bono, was Michael Hutchence. I should have put Kenny in also. Mystery solved!
  5. None of them are in there. I'll give you a clue "asphyxiation".
  6. I'm lifetime to lifetime, unless my next life is as a test tube human arm or the grass on a hobby farm. I will then probably have to reconsider my belief system.
  7. Hmmm... Maybe. But try again just in case.
  8. TA DA!!! Two of these random people have something in common.
  9. I'll try... have to take care of a few thinks.
  10. That's what I've heard. Just kidding Glunn!
  11. Probably when the baseball player sliding into 2B gets mauled by a tiger in Naked Gun.
  12. Yeah Levi, It is a tough job to be a police officer. I am not sure it is a sought after career anymore. If you are not getting the best.... that is troublesome. Being a police officer is certainly tense, but being pulled over by a police officer is greatly tense to us civilians, we will come off as nervous or awkward and we are in a bad place - that is when the bad starts happening. I think that people who should know would become police officers know the risk and are passing it by. That is what I'd like to think.
  13. Yeah, that's pretty much all we've got. It has got me feeling pretty depressed. I want the madness to end and I want the righteous to have there day and in the honor of the departed in this thread and the many more who have perished - we need some ****ing change. It has to be demanded and given. No more BS and no more politics. We cannot stand for this kind of loss anymore. I am washed away on the shore of my sadness.
  14. I figured something would be posted on this topic today by now. Maybe It's probably too raw still. It disgusts me and infuriates me - that I know for sure. This is my Tribute to Philando Castile...
  15. For me, it would have to be the murder of John Lennon. I remember the day after this happened there was a collective depression amongst most people I seen in real life or on TV. It was an experience I will not forget and I was 5 years old.
  16. After doing much research, soul searching and leaning on the voices I believe in... I believe that the vote should go to Clinton. She is definitely not the best, but she is the best that we have. Saying this, I have never supported Trump or even liked him one bit: He is a snake oils salesman, he will say anything to appeal to the masses. Snake oil is offensive! If Trump was a character in "One Flew Over The Cucco's Nest", he would have been the first to have a frontal lobe lobotomy. H With Clinton, it will be politics as usual, nothing much will change... and that sucks big time
  17. Van, I think the last time I enjoyed an All-Star game was in 1989. Bo Jackson ran up the wall and made a great catch and hit a towering HR in Anaheim. I was 14 at the time in that ancient era and an excitable youth! The only other memory I have of the All-Star game is T-Hunt robbing Bonds of an HR, in 2001 or 2002? All-Star games don't work any more.
  18. I have not looked at them. I have been pretty disinterested with it all for the obvious reasons. Nunez has all-star numbers, I have to believe you agree on that. Snubs aside, I have never liked how the all-star rosters have been assembled, and really I don't like the All-Star game. I very rarely watch them.
  19. This is definitely not a token All-Star game selection. When you are on pace to hit in the upper 3-teens, with 20 something HR's and 40ish SB's, while playing SS pretty much most of the time, while being versatile in the field. That's a frickin' shoe in - said and done. I cannot see any other way about it.
  20. Good for Nunez. Maybe he is in over his head, but at a time a lot of good things were thought about this player. Maybe it took him some time to figure it out, maybe he is a flash in the pan... SELL HIGH BITCHES!!!
