    The Twins have never been able to stomp on the opposition's neck, while they' getting a spalding size 9, shoved up their own.

    Twins still have at least 3 innings innings worth of at bats. It will be interesting to see if they can possibly pick up their intestines and heart and shove 'em back in.

    For whatever reason, its working. tho, the batting order may not be 100% to logic, the Yankees are winning with it.

    Years ago, an injured guy would hobble off the field, with some help. He'd sit it in the dugout through the rest of the game. He'd end up with a high ankle sprain and miss, a game or two. Now the guy is rushed to hospital for x-rays, leg wrapped in a full cast, and put on the IL. He's out for some time from playing. He goes through healing, rehab, and a series of games (minor league level). Every time he has a little down time, the leg injury provides him an excuse for the rest of season . His dancing and drinking after games takes the biggest hit.

    Buxton needs to wear a H/C logo, rather than the TC logo. When h'e's hot, he's blazing. When he's cold, he's absolute zero.

    I', not sure. but in my mind, when I think of Aces, I think of Bob Gibson, Juan Marichal, Ferguson Jenkins, etc. An Ace to me, was the kind of pitcher who was going to win most of the time, and dominate most of the pitcher/hitter match-ups. An Ace was described as someone who could show you something special every time they took the mound, i.e. shutout, big strikeout total, no-hitter, etc.

    Kirilloff's wrist is to the Twins what Buxton's knee is to the Twins. The knee is just much more valuable!

    I would like to see the effort to try and win the game, rather than rest this guy and keep this guy, etc. The object is to win, not to keep everyone well rested, fully fed, and a bounce in their step.
