Especially when you should be able to make contact with this RP. If it's Hader in his prime, then it's always a possibility of stranding the runner or causing the weak groundball.

Still don't trust Jax, despite the DP.
  3. RickOShea
They're still pouting about us side-stepping contraction, years ago.
  4. RickOShea
Has Jax had more than 1 or 2 clean innings?

Things involving the Twins are so bizarre, yet still predictable.

So is buttermaker letting Bundy start the 6th?
  7. RickOShea
Is it still illegal for the runner to spike the catcher in the face?

He blocked the plate!!!!!!!!!!No sliding lane!!!!!!!!Unbelievable/1111111Non-acceptable!!!!!

I agree, but it has to be with a short leash. These guys got to know sometimes they may have to extend. By the same token he has to continue bases solely on performance.

    Your sarcasm is first class!

And we all know that it's Kepler's head that has the problem.

Who cares? The ump decides how big or small with their calls.

Since Rocco is not known as a manager with set parameters, ie. batting order, starters, defensive positioning, I see putting Duran as the closer and Lopez as as a set-up man, as a real possibility to try. At this point he should be doing whatever is necessary to salvage this season. I sometimes wonder where rocco's coming from. His decision making process is puzzling a lot of the time. These young guys need some stability to build confidence and experience. I hope the FO in their post season evaluation meetings, take a long hard look at rocco's future with this club.

Why is it that we struggle against marginal starting pitchers Do our hitters lack the concentration or intensity. Is it just incredible coincidence? It really is mindboggling, when these guys go out to the mound and look like Cy Young candidates against our lineup. Of course, we suck against the Verlanders of the world, too.

Methinks the aroma of jealousy is wafting in the air.

Minor League Baseball announced that the Triple-A baseball season will expand to 150 games in 2022, six more than the previous 144. It will be the longest minor league season since 1964.

Or in buxton's case, 'the good old minutes'.

Can Morneau and Perkins go on any more about Miranda's play at first base? I thought that's what Twins camp is for: to let millionaires sit around remember the good old days.

Buxton still out. He's getting ready for the ' stretch run'. Working out in the jacuzzi and trying rehabilitate his hip. He's either the toughest guy in baseball, or a common day version of Gumby. I go with Gumby.

Ok, Ryan doesn't have it tonight, obviously. He's too stubborn to make an adjustment, so let's put the golden boy in the showers.

Can't let the past success go to our heads.
  22. RickOShea
Yeah, I'd go with that. If for no other reason it would keep Jax out of high leverage situations.
  23. RickOShea
I don't know what's more entertaining, watching a great comic or Devers' reactions after he strikes out.

When Gary Sanchez hits a homer, I feel really good for him. He took so much abuse in NY, and it followed him to Minn. I don't know what kind of guy he is, but I think he deserves a little more respect.

    2-bits says Gordon sits, tomorrow.
