    I do have a problem with them taking someone after one of their own was taken. Could of just used the 40 man spot to protect them, instead of an active roster spot for the year.

    I never like it when they lose people in the Rule 5 early in the round, then pick a guy later. Hell of a lot easier to keep a guy on the 40 man than the 25(6) man roster.

    Well at least the bench coach was the last to go so they couldn't promote some of the other guys who left. Perfectly wrong order it seems

    I really like this. Gave up nothing. Can play all 3 positions. Had a spot opened up anyway. Maybe he will be the guy from spring training last year. If not, at least good depth.

    I feel they are grading themselves on the curve. "We got a C but many other teams failed so that brings us up to a B+". Nope. Still a C. But hey, C's get degrees.

    I wonder what kind of an innings limit is placed on Big Mike. He might be the one in the pen, even though he has been the #2 for a while. Or maybe he will hit the IL again with his knee.

    Ya, I hope so. As far as the trade, Kennedy for a lower prospect (or two) who needs to be added to the 40 man this fall would be nice. Take on all the money. I would like them to aim a little higher than Diekman, but if they feel they *need a lefty they could do worse.
